This house was built in the 16th century. People say that the Commander of the village Emporio was living there and therefore there are secret tunnels to the Goulas tower and the fortified Kastelli. We renovated it very carefully, not destroying the old structure, just adding some modern
This house was built in the 16th century. We renovated it very carefully, not destroying the old structure, just adding some modern ammendities

It is the lower part of the house, which is built into the rock. Therefore there is no need for A/C, because the temperature is constant very agreable. There is a master bedroom with a kingsize double bed, a living room with 2 beds for guests, a bathroom and an external shower. As small kitchenette is integrated in the living room.

All lights are with Philips Hue system, allowing you to created your own light settings and scenes with millions of colors of choice. A modern Philips Ambilight TV creates a nice atmosphere. There are several high end BT speakers in the appartment so you can listen to your favorite music in perfect quality.

The traditional old part of Emporio is close to the Castelli. It can only be reached by foot. The nearest parking facility is around 300 meters away.

100 meters away there is a traditional coffee shop (Old Barber), post office, super market and restaurants are within 5-10 minutes walking distance. The appartement is in an area were no motocycles, cars are allowed. Only pedestrians and donkeys.
