Pelican Watch is a modern three-bedroom home that sits directly on the shores of serene Oyster Lake. With lake views and Gulf views, this magnificent oasis allows for total enjoyment of the surrounding natural beauty. Plus, the interior was designed specifically to capture the laid-back, luxurious vibe that 30A is famous for. The lovely outdoor lounge areas, with swimming pool place Pelican Watch in the top tier of truly stunning South Walton homes. Wide open and welcoming, the main level of Pelican Watch features a lovely living and dining area with unobstructed lakefront views. You can choose to relax on the screened-in porch or dine at the spacious open-air dining table. Outside, the sparkling swimming pool can be heated at your request. Or take a stroll down to the lake and out to the private dock, where you can fish with ease. An outdoor shower is perfect for rinsing off before heading back inside. Upstairs, the main living area features elegant black leather furniture that sits on classic blonde wood floors. A large HDTV lets your whole group gather for your favorite TV show or movie. Next to the living area is the open kitchen and dining room. The dining space has formal seating for eight, plus there are four bar stools at the nearby kitchen island. The gourmet kitchen is a striking, ultra-stylish mix of crisp white cabinets and matte black quartz countertops and appliances. Glass French doors lead outside to the second-floor balcony that offers more dining and lounging space, as well as gorgeous lake views. The first of three bedrooms is a luxurious suite, with a luxe king-size bed and mounted HDTV. In the ensuite bathroom, there’s a double vanity and a step-in shower with elegant tile detail. The second bedroom is also a king suite, with a full ensuite bathroom and a door leading outside to the lakefront balcony. A third bedroom also houses a king-size bed, while another living area includes a custom sectional and HDTV. With such easy lake access and gorgeous views, it’s easy to want to spend your entire holiday at home! But when it’s time for a day at the beach or a romantic dinner in town, the beach access is a short stroll away and the fun of Gulf Place is only one mile from your front door. Our main problem was that the entire week we had zero Internet. We had big hopes of enjoying watching football at night on the beautiful porch but that never happened. It was even more frustrating to see houses around us with tv on but not ours. Certain things were missing at this price point that I’ll look more closely into reviews for the future- beach toys and chairs are not provided (we bought some of each and left there hopefully for someone else to use) there was no broom provided for basic cleanup after cooking. For the amount we paid for the week, we don’t feel like we received the full value. I mainly share this review so that if someone is planning to rent that may need to work while on vacation or if you’re passionate about TV, I’d reach out to make sure service is in tact. We would rent again. The kitchen was fully stocked for cooking and appliances were like new. There were lots of great indoor and outdoor living spaces with really nice furniture. It was super clean. It is in a quiet neighborhood but is close to restaurants and shopping. It was a very short bike ride or walk to the beach. We rented a golf cart to carry our beach gear but you could do this in your car. The nearby beach access always had available parking. ##### wriston m.
