Its only a 2 min walk to the beach! A large backyard with an el fresco dining area, grill and plenty of grassy area for kids to run and play. The private, heated, salt water pool provides hours of entertainment, with pool chaise loungers for sunbathing, an outdoor dining table, Adirondack chairs, and a drink cart with ice bucket and an outdoor shower . It's abundantly stocked with everything needed from the kitchen to the beach. The kitchen has double ovens, double refrigerators AND double dishwashers as well as an abundant supply of cookware and dishes.The bedding was spotlessly clean and cozy! There is a "treasure chest" of pool and beach toys and a wagon to help transport things to the beach. There were 11 of us, ages 7-65, and we had plenty of room for all. Highly recommend! ##### Dee P. We had a marvelous time at the “BETTY” House in Santa Rosa. It was a quick walk to the beach each day, & the owners provided some chairs & umbrellas, beach toys, & a little wagon to carry your supplies down to the beach boardwalk. Our little ones were all under the age of 7, so we appreciated a locked fence around the swimming pool, which we enjoyed every afternoon after the beach. Plenty of places to eat inside, front porch, backyard. Loved the large living area and having 2 refrigerators. Pool was large enough for the kids. We all loved having it away from house so no buzzer on the door. So nice to have beach chairs and toys. Outdoor area was perfect for our young boys to pitch with their dads. Close to beach which is a MAJOR plus…people could come and go from beach. Owners so easy to work with. The pool was a real hit with our grandchildren. The house is spacious and well stocked. We had a wide range of ages and everyone was pleased. I stressed out so much before this trip, wondering how it would work out and it exceeded my expectations. We celebrated my wife's 60th birthday with all of our children, spouses and grandchildren. The house sleeps 20 comfortably and the kitchen was fantastic. Equipped with double dishwashers, double refrigerators and a wine cooler. The house itself was fine, it needs some work. Even interior painting would help. We killed 2 cockroaches. There were 12 of us. No pantry-that would have been a godsend. 2 fridges and 2 dishwashers were a plus but one dishwasher didn’t clean dishes so we had to hand wash them. The pool was rather dirty and the charcoal grill way too small for a large group. For the price I expected better but we enjoyed our stay. ##### Leslie W. The location of this property is excellent, a 2-3 minute walk to the beach. The beach is gorgeous and perfect for young children. The pool is also excellent at the property and we had it heated. It was a quick walk to the beach, and the private pool was perfect for a break from the sun or beach or during naptime. The kitchen had everything we needed for a large family, and enough space for all of us to eat together. The 3rd floor balcony was a fantastic place to spend evening cocktail hours or have dance parties with the toddlers. We would definitely stay here again! ##### Jen M. Plenty of nice backpack chairs and umbrellas to bring to the beach so you don’t have to pack your own. The pool was amazing as well. The home is well decorated, has plenty of rooms and beds, and kitchen was well stocked with cooking supplies. One note is that the photos of the bunk room are not current - the bunks actually are now queen over queen with trundle like the description says. Our group had an amazing time, and the host was easy to get in touch with through VRBO! Highly recommend this place to any big groups! ##### Victoria J. This house is big enough for three families to share so was PLENTY big enough for us. We didn’t even use 2 of the bedrooms. The house is spacious and airy, clean and well-appointed. We didn’t really discover anything that we missed it had to buy, so didn’t have to shop for basics immediately after arriving. The listing description is thorough and accurate so I planned for the whole week accordingly. I paid extra to heat the pool for the week and it was very warm so I considered that worth doing in February. The location is a 2 minute walk to the beach, which has limited parking for non-residents so makes the beach less crowded than many other beach houses I’ve rented before. The beach is fab- white sand, pristine and with GORGEOUS sunsets. We went to watch it every day with a “beverage” in hand. The street is very quiet so great for kids too. There’s a golf cart/bike rental place very close by and we got a couple bikes from there, which were brand new. Pretty handy for my teens who wanted a little freedom. The owners are very responsive to any questions. I would most definitely rent this house again and can’t find any negatives at all. I know it’s not the least expensive option but I found it was worth every penny as I didn’t need to rent a golf cart, drive to the beach, go shopping, complain about dirty/broken items etc etc. it’s a fab house in a fab location and was everything we all wanted and more. ##### Owen J.
