Freshly updated and ready for you, this home has two spacious bedrooms with sleeping space for six people. Enter on the main floor and into the kitchen and dining space. Glass front cabinets, modern light fixtures, a tiled backsplash, and sleek stainless appliances make an ideal spot for brewing the morning coffee or whipping up some quick snacks for the beach. The dining table has seating for six, while the peninsula bar seats three. The modern, wood-look flooring extends into the living space, where you’ll find a tasteful seating area and flat-screen television. But you may spend the most time on the screened-in deck that overlooks the ocean. Relax here in the evenings with a frosty cocktail while a pink and purple sunset lights up the sky. It’s a perfect spot for enjoying the gentle offshore breezes and searching for frolicking dolphins in the waves. The unique upstairs master suite has a large soaking tub and double vanity just opposite the king-sized bed. The soaring cathedral ceiling has light-filled transom windows at the peak, flooding the space with sunshine. Two sliding glass doors lead out to a large, private balcony with stunning ocean views. There’s also a private, en-suite bathroom. The second bedroom is furnished with two queen-sized beds. All of our Dune 1 Townhomes are immensely popular with returning guests—and with good reason. You simply can’t get any closer to the beach! Guests of Dune 1 Townhomes also have access to a sparkling, gulf front swimming pool and a private boardwalk down to the beach complete with an outdoor shower to wash off sandy toes. From March 1 to October 31, you’ll receive 2 beach chairs and 1 beach umbrella during your stay. You’ll also be within walking distance of local-favorite Stinky’s Fish Camp and only a mile from exciting Gulf Place Town Center for shopping, dining, and entertainment. With breathtaking ocean views and easy access to all that Scenic Highway 30A has to offer, many guests consider Dune 1 Townhomes to be their beachfront home-away-from-home. All of the stress of packing up supplies for a beach day disappears at Dune 1—where you’re never more than a few steps away from sinking your toes in the warm sand and cool surf. However, it’s in desperate need of a deep cleaning. The place wreaks of dog and the furniture has been chewed up by a dog. It’s supposed to be a pet free rental! There’s mold in the master shower, some of the light fixtures are broken and bulbs need to be replaced. Only fitted sheet and thin comforter. - a few lights were out - air worked well with regard to temperature, but still high humidity between 65% at night to 77% during the day - laundry inside the downstairs bathroom ( not s big deal) - master bedroom sliding door to balcony doesn’t latch to close completely - first floor sliding door too hard to close and open - 3 remotes for the television - keypad lock with 7 digits and a star a real pain - garbage has to be put out in the dumpster 50 yards away from condo - needs an available wet mop for sand removal during stay - master bathroom small and dated with ceiling fan above the sinks(odd) - jacuzzi tub IN the master bedroom (strange) ##### steven k. That alone is worth 5 stars but there were several annoyances at this unit. Overall, the unit needs a deep cleaning. The downstairs area had a very strong musky smell. I killed a roach in a drawer upstairs on the first evening which left me a little uneasy. Trying to cook on Thanksgiving Day and couldn’t find a mixer or can opener in the unit. The biggest annoyance was that there was an electrical issue. I dont know what the problem was but the lights continuously blinked and there were issues with trying to run different things at the same time. For instance, when you turned the dryer on, the TV would turn off. Would consider only staying here again with updates and maintenance. Will look at other units here. ##### christy g.
