"I stayed overnight at the Sideways Inn and was very pleased with my experience there. The room (I stayed in Room 234 where Miles and Jack stayed) was clean and the property was well maintained. I was given a $12 food/drink voucher for Sideways Lounge which I used for 2 free drinks. The location was great and in walking distance to both AJ Spurs and the Hitching Post II (both featured in the movie Sideways). The staff were adequate though not very friendly and breakfast consisted of coffee and a donut, so nothing special. I stayed at the hotel after visiting numerous filming sites for the movie. Overall I was very pleased with Buellton and the Sideways Inn and would highly recommend the hotel."

"We booked a handicapped room and did not get one upon arrival. Thank goodness my husband showered in the morning prior to staying here, you book through Expedia but the hotel didn’t accommodate "

The view from the ocean front room can't be beat! Easy on/off the freeway, walkable safe neighborhood with many restaurant options within walking/10 minute drive."
