Hotel reception staff were very friendly, kind and welcoming. Enjoyable stay and hotel located on a fairly quiet street just a very short walk away from the beautiful old town area. We loved Vicenza. Breakfast was nice but a few items (eg milk, butter) had run out nearing what seemed a pressured 10am curfew at which time you could always set your watch by the coffee machine being turned off. Room and bed very clean and the in-room fridge was appreciated. Air con satisfactory. No tea/coffee facility in room though. Would stay here again. It had the charm and decor of a traditional Italian hotel.

Best hotel in Verona and feels like a home away from home. Staff are the absolute best. Rooms are comfortable, classy, and spacious. Breakfast is delicious. Location cannot be beat. The hotel is also beautiful, a work of art.

Check in was easy as there is always someone at the front desk. Room was spacious and clean. It's about a 15-20 min walk to the historic centre, and a 20 min walk to the train station. Breakfast was included for us and the it was a buffet style with lots of options. Highly recommend.

"I think it all has to do with expectations. I think the main problem was it just lacked basic hotel items. No water kettle, no rubbish bin in the room, you had to pay for a coffee or tea yet there was no way to get any - same with water, luckily you can just drink the tap water. I think overall it ..."
