One of the best hotels in the area, service is top notch, beautiful historic interior with modern utilities, breakfast with a variety, transportation and shopping within a walking distance, staff have the utmost respect and hospitality, the manager Fatih was amazing !

This is a beautiful hotel!!! The rooms are spacious, with high ceilings and unique designs based on the fact that the building was originally a monastery. The staff was extremely attentive. The food was amazing! I would recommend this hotel to anyone and would absolutely stay there again!!

The property is an old church around 600 years old and stunning, the staff are excellent and full of information about the hotel and area of Urfa, located close to all sights in the area. Fatih was excellent and a great help, would recommend anyone to stay.

We've stayed in various hotels in city centers in old towns, and this hotel has been our most enjoyable stay! Breakfast was serpme style, not a buffet. We loved the "courtyard" architecture and style. The room was clean, tastefully decorated and the bed was comfortable. The location is ideally situated for arriving by car and is close to attractions. Hela and Fatih were very helpful! They reached out to me before we arrived and gave us directions to their parking lot (a short distance from the hotel). Ali Bey met us and took our bags to the hotel. Hela checked us in, gave us an upgraded room(!) and the WiFi information, and took us to our room. All interactions we had with the staff were positive. They helped to make it a fantastic stay! If we visit Urfa again, we hope to stay there.

If Driving, Call the Staff to Get to Parking

Please alert guest that if they are driving GPS may not work and the "streets" around the hotel are extremely narrow. You need to contact the hotel in advance and arrange to meet a staff member so they can guide you to the parking lot for the hotel. The staff was great!

Yasmeen and her family did an amazing job transforming this property! This ex-monestary/chruch turned boutique hotel is gorgeous! The staff is very welcoming and super lovable! It felt like home! They are so kind! The property is updated and amazing! Breakfast was delicious! Definitely stay here! Seconds walk to downtown.

The hotel was lovely and the service was outstanding. In the middle of record snowfall, the staff were very willing to help with getting my very heavy suitcase to and from the hotel from the street. Especially of note was the standout service (and English skills) of Hele, who made sure I had all of my questions answered and that I had everything that I needed. She even helped me arrange a taxi driver to take me to Mardin after 2 different buses that I had booked were cancelled. The driver, Omar, was a wonderful driver who got me to my destination safely and efficiently, despite lots of snow and ice. The hotel location is ideal for exploring, and my room was beautiful, cozy, and well equipped. I highly recommend this hotel!

The Tessera is a beautifully restored Armenian monastery, and tastefully done to today's standards. The breakfast is outstanding, with endless choices, and all of good quality. The bathroom has excellent water pressure in the shower and the bed is very comfortable. Unfortunately, many/most staff do not speak English (or Spanish, or French). As a suggestion, a quick, elementary English course for staff in simple English communication would be of great help for travelers.

Tessera hotels a hidden gem in Sanliurfa, the place is so elegant and with such beautiful and tasteful decorations details. Breakfast is an amazing Turkish Delight. The place was 300 hundrend year old monastery , so you feel you are staying in such a special place. It have like 5 terraces you can enjoy the views of the town. Is close everything you have to visit in Sanliurfa. The owner Mrs.Jazmine, was so attentive with us seems we arrived. And everybody that work there we always in top of everything you will need in you stay. THANK YOU TO ALL OF YOU TO MAKE OUR TRIP SO SPECIAL. If your visiting Sanliurfa, please dont miss this Hotel.

Lovely people. Very helpful. Just be aware there are a lot of stairs to climb. There are a few rooms on the ground floor so if you have mobility issues, maybe ask for one of those. Also, the breakfast is pretty small. And no restaurant at night. But that’s ok. The people were so kind, it makes up for all that.

A beautiful and historic hotel with wonderful staff and service. The complimentary breakfasts were delicious and Hala went above and beyond giving us water, tea, and even special tea when our stomachs were off. Rooms spacious and common areas: courtyards, roof terrace, lovely to spend time in, even when weather hot!

Otel Müdürü Fatih Bey ve İşletme Sahibi Yasemin Hanım konaklama boyunca sürekli yardımlarını güler yüzlerini esirgemediler, odalar çok kullanışlı, en merkezi konumda.
