"The pool was not opened for use. The room smelled like people chain smoked in it for a month straight. We had to buy a can of air freshener and leave the door open. The floor was filthy. We could feel the grit beneath our feet and the bottom of our socks turned black. They definitely needed to perform maintenance, especially the rust and calcium build up in the tub. DON'T drink the tap water; it's terrible tasting. There was trash on the ground around the property. The pillows were like plastic bags with stuffing, they crinkled when we moved our heads. The only "real" pillow on each bed was past it's time. The WiFi connection was terrible, so I had to use my phone as a "hot spot". It's cheaper than other hotels I found in the area, but I would recommend spending the extra cash to get better accommodations. This was a last minute trip and we were tight on money, otherwise I'd have booked something different. The best I can say is it served it's purpose. We were out of the weather and had somewhere to sleep and bathe. The location was very close to everything we needed at least."

"Always enjoy staying with sal, the neighbors are great, the house keeping is great, sal is great, I'm kinda of a wonderer, I don't stay stationary anywhere for too long but, this little place feels like home to me. It's always comfortable and clean not overly decorated but , just what you need for your stay. I would recommend this place in rush KY to anyone. I travel with a person who is autistic and the low stimulation of the environment is great to keep her calm and happy. I don't usually take the time to write reviews as I'm always moving from one place to another. But, I wanted to make time to say thanks to sal and his staff for making us feel at home. I appreciate the hospitality. ....."

"Front desk at check in was great, very nice and friendly. Got to our room (137) - all the way at the end next to the side entrance. Stairwell door is right across from that room door and it slammed often at night waking us up. The side entrance door to the outside is broken and every time a person goes in or out, it stays wide open for anyone to enter all day and night. It needs fixed ASAP. Upon entering our room, everything looked in order and nice, smelled clean. But when barefoot, the floor was sticky. After one night, we asked for our room to be cleaned while we were out. We returned and it was cleaned, however, the floor wasn't swept or mopped at all. Same sticky floor. We used a bath towel to wipe up the floor and it was filthy! The towel was pretty dark after we were done. Appears it is never mopped which is really gross and ridiculous. Breakfast - it's great if you get there early, but if you go down there at 9:00 am, good luck, most hot foods are empty and when we asked the lady replenishing, she acted like it was a problem for her to fill things back up. We will never stay here again."

"This property looked questionable from the outside as it was in an industrial area but it was great. Inside was homey and comfortable. The bed was comfortable and the whole place was clean. Communication with the host and hostess were easy and accurate. I would stay again."
