The owners, Mario and Donella, would like to offer you an once-in-a-lifetime vacation in San Gimignano.

You can enjoy the beautiful garden—an extraordinary oasis of peace and quiet right in the city center—for the exclusive use of those renting the apartment.
So, reading a book, relaxing in the sun, sipping a glass of excellent Chianti, or having breakfast surrounded by the greenery and flowers of this garden will be an incredible experience!


**Historical Trivia**
This unique and luxurious apartment is located on the first floor of a medieval building in the historic center and dates back to between 1100 and 1200. In the past, it was part of the district of the old San Domenico Convent. It has been owned by Mario’s family since 1954.
The main feature that makes this apartment unique and special is the presence, right in the heart of the historic center, of a large private garden for the exclusive use of the apartment’s guests, equipped with everything needed to eat and relax there—always green and in bloom thanks to the owners’ care.

**Accommodations**
The romantic and tastefully furnished apartment can accommodate up to 2 people. It is particularly well-suited for a romantic getaway for couples.

It features a spacious living room with a fully equipped kitchen, a lounge area with a sofa, a master bedroom, a reading room, and a luxurious bathroom with a large walk-in shower. Air conditioning in the bedroom is sufficient to cool all areas.

All bath and bed linens are included in the price!!



"Casa del Giardino" is located within the Limited Traffic Zone (ZTL).

**BY CAR**
You will be able to drive up close to the house to load or unload your luggage using a 20-minute time-limited permit, which will be sent to you by the owners and must be displayed on the car’s dashboard.
Afterward, you’ll need to move your car and park it in paid parking lots or free parking spaces outside the ZTL.
The paid parking lots we recommend due to their proximity—and which are outside the ZTL—are P2 and P3/P4. All are about a 6-minute walk away.
Upon request, the owners can provide a “PARKINGCARD,” which is payable upon arrival at a discounted rate and grants you free access to all public parking lots in San Gimignano, subject to availability at the time of your arrival.

**BY BUS**
The bus stop in town is “Piazzale Martiri Montemaggio.” From the stop, it takes about 8 minutes to easily reach the house by following these directions. On foot, go through Porta San Giovanni and walk up the main street, Via San Giovanni, to the famous Piazza della Cisterna, where you’ll find the ancient well in the center of the square. Turn right onto Via del Castello, and as soon as you reach the end of the street, turn right again, and you’ll have arrived at your destination.

Other things to note
Located just 100 meters from the main squares, Piazza della Cisterna and Piazza Duomo, it allows guests to spend their days exploring the numerous art galleries, visiting museums, strolling along the city walls, and enjoying the lively atmosphere of the squares, which offer delicious local specialties to try.
In the evening, the world-famous town of San Gimignano still exudes the evocative atmosphere of the Middle Ages with its soft lighting and quaint establishments where you can savor local specialties.

Staying in the historic center is the best you could hope for on a vacation: everything is within easy reach—quaint shops, restaurants, trattorias, wine bars, and cafes. Please note that the center is a pedestrian zone, calm and peaceful.
