It has a wonderful infinity pool and a private garden. Ideal for families with children. Small domestic friends are welcome. The apartment has a vintage style inspired by the 70s, where original furniture has been recovered with the intent of preserving and reusing existing resources. Our philosophy of attention to human relationships, the environment, history, tradition, and good food is a common thread in the management of the apartment. The apartment is on the ground floor in 95 square meters with views of private green annexes (a terrace, a back room, and a historic pergola) that make outdoor life during the warm months usable and pleasant. The terrace with umbrella is perfect for breakfast and dinner and allows you to enjoy the view of the rose garden, the village, and the surrounding vineyards. In the area facing north, you can enjoy an outdoor lunch and barbecue even in the warm months. The area is surrounded by scented essences of jasmine that blooms in July and others, such as the strawberry tree and the viburnum, that make the stay and the view at the outdoor table pleasant. The pergola overlooking the master bedroom is made with historic vines selected by me and my husband during studies conducted in the urban areas of the nearby medieval city of Siena. Inside the apartment there is access to a spacious living area with a kitchen equipped with a large central island, dining table, television, bookcase, fireplace, and double sofa bed. The kitchen is equipped with every comfort and accessory for those who love to cook during their stay, experimenting with Tuscan delights, and is characterized by high-quality finishes, including the famous Venetian graniglia in the worktops. From the living area, you enter the sleeping area through a corridor where there are two bedrooms: one double and one with two single beds. The bathroom with shower, located at the end of the corridor, has a small window overlooking the back garden and is characterized by handcrafted finishes in the polychrome mosaics, in the light travertine, and in the small terracotta mirror. The apartment is quiet, and the ancient walls ensure the maintenance of an ideal temperature both in summer and winter, even in the absence of air conditioning. From June to September, it offers the use of a large swimming pool overlooking San Gimignano, in which guests are provided with a place with an umbrella and two sun loungers for sunbathing and relaxing immersed in the Tuscan nature. The apartment also offers some free services, including sheets, towels, parking, and wi-fi throughout the property, heating. For stays longer than 14 nights, an apartment cleaning is included, with optional linen change. NOTE The regional regulation applies for the payment of a tourist tax of €1.5 for each guest aged 12 and over for up to a maximum of 5 nights, to be paid in cash at check-in. Rita heeft alles goed voor ons verzorgd en reageerde uitstekend en snel op berichtjes van onze kant! Het huis is heerlijk ruim, voorzien van een fijne keuken waar alles (scherpe messen, Moka, goede pannen etc.) te vinden was. Zwembad heerlijk en prachtig gelegen. Enige puntje voor ons is dat het zo stil was bij het zwembad dat we onze kinderen wel echt heel rustig moesten laten zijn bij het zwembad, omdat we anders scheve blikken kregen van andere bezoekers. De locatie ligt ook in het prachtige groen rondom San Gigminano. Voor iedereen een aanrader, wij komen zeker terug. It worked perfectly for our week exploring the local area and coming back to the swimming pool was always welcome. The apartment is well designed with a nice finish, particularly in the open plan living room/kitchen. Rita was an excellent host who was clearly invested in ensuring her guests were ok. A couple of areas we thought might be improved: a wardrobe or some sort of storage instead of a desk in the twin bedroom. The shower is on the small side and the shower curtain can be a challenge to keep in the shower tray. The driveway was also a challenge! However, overall we really liked the property and would return. ##### Robert F. Beautiful views and a lovely clean home with everything we needed. The pool was immaculate and the backyard was the perfect shady spot to relax. Homemade bread, a bottle of vino, and chocolate! Mit leckerem, selbstgebackenem Brot und Wein wurden wir begrüßt. Die Kinder haben sich sehr über die Osterüberraschung gefreut und ich über die Blumen. Die Ausflugstipps waren sehr hilfreich. Wir konnten an einem Regentag die Wohnung sehr gut heizen und die Küche ist gut ausgestattet, um für alle zu kochen. Unsere 15jährige Tochter hat sich über das perfekte WLAN sehr gefreut. Unser 9 jähriger Sohn hat sich oft und gerne im großzügigen, frei zugänglichen Außenbereich aufgehalten. Waschmaschine, Spülmaschine, Fön - alle Elektrogeräte haben sehr gut funktioniert. Schlafzimmer waren ruhig gelegen und konnten durch eine Zwischentür vom Wohnbereich abgetrennt werden. Auch das Badezimmer war angenehm und gut zu heizen. Unser größeres Auto konnten wir sicher abstellen. Die Wohnung liegt günstig - wir haben San Gimignano, Volterra und Siena mit dem Auto besichtigt. Florenz lässt sich gut mit dem Zug erreichen. Thermalbäder sind in der Nähe - dort haben wir bei schlechtem Wetter schöne Tage verbracht. Supermärkte, Apotheke und Einzelhandel sind in kurzer Distanz vorhanden. Wir möchten gerne wieder kommen - es war für uns ein wunderschöner Aufenthalt - auch wenn das Wetter etwas launisch war. Vielen Dank für alles. ##### Manuela D. Nestled among grape vines and olive trees, Rita's home is the perfect place from which to launch day trips to San Gimignano, Siena and Florence, or just for relaxing. Comfortable beds, nice patio and porch with a great view of San Gimingano on a hill to the west. She has a well-equipped kitchen and if you need a supermarket, it is only 10 minutes down the road in Poggibonsi. We also enjoyed a hands-on cooking class by Bina, a Cesarine in nearby Gambassi Terme, another charming Tuscan village with very little crowd pressure. Rita is an amazing host. She met us at a local grocery store and we followed her to the property. She gave us a thorough overview of the home, wineries, restaurants, & hilltop towns. And even left us a delicious loaf of homemade bread. The property itself has a warm welcoming feel with beautiful garden areas to relax in the front overlooking vineyards or the back for a more secluded feel. We loved our time there so much that we decided to spend a whole day lounging at the beautiful pool. It was perfection! ##### Jennifer G.
