This is a pub.
The rooms are accessed via steep stairs. It is a shared bathroom which is only adequate.
The locals in the bar are intimidating unless you like the football crowd type of person. The bar was busy every night with proper drinkers. The smell of cannabis in the outside areas was prevalent.
If you like the Tv series ‘shameless’ you would be right at home here.
Saying that I would return if I was ever in the area but it’s not for everyone
Dreadful noise from refuse collection throughout the night bottles, rubbish, loud conversations and didn’t sleep because of it. Manager refused refund and was disinterested, plusdidn’t even offer me the breakfast I had paid for. Wouldn’t stay there again. Rather pay a little more for quality and a restful sleep.
The rooms and drinks in particular are exceptionally cheap, the rooms are a good standard, its near the centre but easy to park at, the other people at the bar are nice, the staff are really nice and helpful and the breakfast was great.

This is a very old pub in an old industrial area and old coal mine only community pub left most close in area by1973 Much used bu Man/U supporters who area up for redeveloping so hope pub survives A harty breakfast can be had bar is keg ales only good value for money handy bus to Mancester or via Eccels and tram
Very clean and welcoming. Excellent value for money and a wonderful full English breakfast with tea for £5! I would definitely recommend staying here as I will certainly be back.
The staff were warm and welcoming. The room was clean with crisp white sheets. They had taken into consideration that both myself and my son have problems with stairs and put us on the first floor instead of further up. There is no ground floor as it is over a pub. They had provided earplugs in case of any excess noise. They were not needed as it was not a rowdy pub. Considering the price I thought it was excellent value and would book again. It is not the Ritz but you would not get a room for this price perhaps a chair in the corner. I have seen some of the negative reviews and did not find any problems.

Nice place to stay on a budget. Clean but there are shared areas such as bathroom and shower. Any messy bits were caused by other guests. Comfy bed. Easily accessible for our late night! Friendly staff! Overall a decent place to stay. Nothing fancy. Worth the money!
My stay was pretty good, I found however the locals a bit rough types, maybe because I am not used to it. In the end though they were not too bad, it's just a bit loud until later at night since your above a pub, so thats logical. I liked the staff and the English breakfast they made for me every mornin was marvelous, I really do recommend it!

Dirty, filthy and disrespectful to guests due to not even being bothered about getting the basics right. Still waiting for breakfast which has been paid for. V angry right now!
A reasonably priced guest house with helpful staff
Very well set up guest house, the staff are very friendly and helpful, and the cost for the room is very reasonable as well. The main problem would be that the rooms are on the upper floors of a pub, and the entrance is through a busy bar area, so can be a problem when you're arriving with lots of luggage and having to negotiate through the bar to get to the entrance to the upstairs rooms, so would be better if there was another entrance for anyone staying there. The rooms, are very nice and clean, and because it's in a reasonable remote area, there is very little external noise at night, especially on the top floor. Breakfast is also available for a small extra cost, if required. Overall, The B'hive Inn is a very good place to stay in the Salford/Manchester area.
