The apartment was cold and lacking in warmth both in temperature and empathy. Blank white walls with no pictures, no soft furnishings or rugs made the place echo and the lack of lamp shades made for harsh white light rather than a softer warmer welcoming atmosphere. The person checking me in could only shrug and the person on the end of the phone was glib and uninterested. I was told to ring 15 minutes ahead of arrival so I could be met at the RV. Did so and then waited 10 for the agent to arrive! Was told we would be in millenium tower and directed there for our stay and it looked lovely on the quays and with balconies. However, on arrival we then had a 20 minute farce being directed somewhere else and having to wait for someone. The room we were given was in a twin set of blocks set farther back from the quays, no balcony as requested, no communication we wouldn't be getting.
