Nos merveilleux cottages à Salem

« Probably the nicest facility I have ever rented. Spotless in every way. Unique decor was fabulous. Seamless check in and departure. Will definitely look to book again. »

« Staff was only present at desk after I had been waiting. Place smelled musty. TV remote didnt work so the TV was useless. Pool looked dingy and not sparkly clean. Bathroom towels were so used you could almost see through them. I would have walked out upon entering the place but with Expedia, I dont think you can get refunded. Was happy to only have been there 1 night and that I didnt have my family there with me to be exposed to the place. »

« When I walked in to the house I felt a sense of peace and even a reverence to it. This home is nearly 200 yrs old and the renovation and upkeep is wonderful, they were able to maintain the true essence of the home while updating electrical and plumbing. We were fortunate enough to be staying in the Smith room which added to the feeling of reverence even more. I later learned that the room had been used back before the temple was completed as an ordinance room. The owners and the caretakers of...

« The breakfast was sorely lacking, but there is a wonderful cafe across the street. The price was right, the front desk attendant was great. I asked for extra towels and got them right away. It could have been a little more spiffed up and cleaned up, but all in all it was good. Oh, the pillows were big and hard. It was great for what we needed. »

« Bien qu'un arrêt rapide, ce fut courroie, soit propre, chaleureux et bien insonoriser avec un très bon déjeuner chaud. Merci »

« Amazing stay! »

« My husband & I stayed a few nights at the cabin for our anniversary. The place is beautiful & oh so comfy. There were a few bugs indoors, but with the cabin being so far out in the country it's pretty expected. Communication with our host was super easy & quick. I needed a question answered & messaged the her. She responded within minutes. I would definitely stay again. »

« We had never rented a vrbo before, but this property was great for us. We had our 3 grandkids with us on vacation. They enjoyed staying in the loft and playing outdoors. We were in the area for a family reunion, last year we had to stay 20 miles away as that was the closest hotel we could get for 5 people. This cabin in 5 minutes away from the family reunion, and the town of Keosauqua, Iowa, and the back entrance to the state park.Kellie, the host has been awesome to text back and forth with, I...

« nice place to stay »

« Fun stay. Adorned with penitentiary history that was very interesting. Across from a beautiful river view and park. »

« This cabin is a 1940s cabin and that's what it is. Don't expect luxury. Dogs and kids will love it -- bunk beds, a loft bed and a not-heavily-traveled road to walk dogs. The wall of west-facing windows gives a beautiful view across the Mississippi River for stunning sunsets. There's a small beach where you can sit. But beware -- GPS has NO idea where the cabin is. After being lost twice, I went to the app to message the host and realized there were driving instructions. But those weren't sent...
