It’s traditional Bungalow Style on the outside, bright and open inside. The cabin has breathtaking views of the Buffalo River Valley and manicured grounds all around. The expansive, private-park setting is shared with just three other cabins. THE LAND When you stay at Sky Hawk Ridge, you won't stay inside for long. Roam the land and discover the wonders of this beautiful landscape. Enjoy misty morning walks through dew-covered fields. Watch gorgeous sunsets over Ozark Mountains. When you walk along Sky Hawk's long ridge, you see up the Buffalo River Valley to layered green hillsides and distant blue ridge lines. The property has 3/4 mile of park frontage, and the Buffalo River Trail is just steps from the property corner. The park trail leads about a mile down to a long, wide gravel bar at Shine Eye Bluff -- the perfect spot to picnic, swim, fish or enjoy a lazy afternoon. (Shine Eye is also accessible by road, a five minute drive.) ACCOMMODATIONS Completed in June 2022, this comfortable home has plenty of room for your family or two couples. Stunning architecture and tasteful furnishings make the house memorable in its own right. High dormer windows in the two-story living area and large windows in every room let you see forest and sky all around. The interior is sunny and uplifting ... like the great outdoors. Extremely well appointed, decorated and comfortable. The bathrooms were huge with wonderful showers, the bedrooms were comfortable. The fact that they allow dogs but it was amazingly clean was wonderful. They even had a dog basket for wiping your dog's paws off and treats! My favorite spot was the deck overlooking the pond and the woods. I was able to hear and see so many birds and just enjoy the amazing views. I was day dreaming we could live there and never go home. We were even able to take advantage of several of the hiking trails on the property, which is a big plus when you have dogs. This was our second visit to Sky Hawk Ridge and we were already discussing our third visit when we left. It truly is amazing from the location with easy access to everything and stunning views….and the home itself has the perfect layout and couldn’t be decorated more beautifully. We enjoyed walking the grounds and seeing deer on the same path and just being surrounded by nature….so peaceful and just the energy we needed to come back home and tackle life. ##### Mindy H. The moment you walk through the door you immediately begin to feel relaxed and that is just the beginning. With free range over the entire property and it being a private drive, I was very at ease letting our three young children roam about. We enjoyed a few of the hiking trails followed by smores around the outside fireplace. Mornings were so enjoyable wrapped in a blanket on the front porch drinking coffee and watching all of the wildlife. The days were spent kayaking on the river. This property has several homes on it so we love coming back here and to the buffalo river! We hope to see this place again by the end of October. ##### Clayton D. We stayed the weekend with my sister-in-law and her fiancé, to spend time with her and the rest of my wife’s family. What a great property to meet and spend time together! The house is light and airy and the high ceiling make the place feel huge!
