Room a good size and clean, well set up at checkin. Car parking is available at the hotel, although it is a restricted space and larger cars are a tight fit. It’s also quite complicated to reach the hotel the first time. Great breakfast with wide choice for the family. Fantastic location with easy access to historic Rouen and shops.

During our visit our dog became very ill, eventually being admitted to vet hospital for several days. The staff were extremely helpful and kind

The property is in a good place, a short walk from the old town. If you are away for longer than a few days the standard rooms are small. We had problems with locking the safe and the tv. The issue with the safe was resolved the next day but the problem with the tv was not resolved. There was a space for a fridge in our room but no fridge. We were advised some rooms have fridges others do not, ours did not. In the hot weather that is not great. That said it was an impressive building a conversion of a building with history, the staff were really helpful, great restaurant recommendations and other tips for the area. Cycling London to Paris. This was our first stop. No bike storage, but chained to railings in full sight of 24hr reception. Hotel was very nice, and looking at staying here again. Food was delicious, including evening buffet. Staff were very helpful, including escorting us to see the chef to discuss vegetarian buffet options (and help with language barrier). Unfortunately, we did not have a long enough stay to enjoy the hotel's facilities (pool, spa, golf, grounds, etc), but would look at staying here again.
