I've stayed at a lot of hotels, and this hotel should be classified as a 1 star. The free breakfast included a couple of plums, and 2 kinds of cereal. They had no ice machine, and no pool. The king size bed had a homemade bed frame and the mattress was very lumpy. The towels were hard and crispy, and very small. What was wrong was the rude gentleman in the office that I asked to replace the coffee pot in the room because it had a lot of mold growing in it. I would post a pic if I could. It was disgusting and a health hazard. Also the hair dryer did not work. They came into the room while we were gone to empty the garbage but did nothing with the coffee pot or hair dryer. When I left to go home, I pulled the pot out of the coffee maker and left it on the counter so it couldn’t be missed when they cleaned the room #107\. No pool, no breakfast, reservation not recognized charged a bit more ($10) a nite. Other occupants smoking at their door ways for hours with smoke drifting down to our room the whole time. (Don't bother with coffee maker in room - it works - but you won't want the coffee) But not a bad place to crash if you need a place to sleep ($65 a night). AC worked well. Then 30min being in room an older guy from front desk calls room tells me tp get to the office. I go and he says my room is canceled, and I have to pay in cash. I paid $46.11 and he wanted $50, I gave him $45, got the 3 receipts for the cancel. Then he told me to call cheaptickets and get the refund on my own. I knew what to expect. It is a good location on Bay Road in Saginaw. I'm commenting because when you do a search for swimming pool on hotels.com this hotel comes up.
