"Det var helt magisk å våkne i Snekkerbua i Tivarneset (=gudenes nes) fra regn og tåke om kvelden til sol og utsikt gjennom alle vinduer om morgenen og nyte en kaffekopp utenfor hovedhuset, mettet med inntreykk fra gjensynet med Hongsetbygda hvor vi bodde 1949 - 1954."
