Royal Oak Golf Club Tours and Activities

The property is off the beaten path but that is the charm of this place. The place is kept immaculate. My body and soul felt rested here. The owners, Steve and Dorthe & family, are amazing people, they went beyond being just host, they doubled as a transport coordinator. They made our trip very easy and comfortable.

Lovely setting in an historic property that is well maintained. Some of the staff gave very confident (and inaccurate) answers to questions, but all were friendly and helpful. There is EV parking, but you need your own cable. There is a laundry room that is free to use, which was excellent, but the first staff member I asked said they didn't have one. The breakfast (included in our booking) was AMAZING, dinner also quite good but not included. Appreciated the pool and hot tubs, small but adequate fitness room, and lovely views with trails. The beds are typical European (read; not overly comfortable) and noises carry throughout the hotel so appreciated having the ear plugs available, especially since it was much more comfortable to sleep with the patio door open.
