Rose Hill Vacation Packages

This hotel is in a great spot right next to the river in historic Savannah which I’m assuming is what justifies the price of the rooms, which are seriously average. Walking in to the room, it has the feel of a very cheap hotel with harsh spotlights and cheap tiles. The bathrooms need upgrading desperately and the room felt dark and cramped. There was a bottle of wine plus two bottles of water on arrival. I’d have gladly opened the wine, but there was no corkscrew in the room! The whole trip felt quite strange. Aside from check in (which was after midnight due to a flight delay), literally no one spoke to us at all. Not the restaurant staff as we were browsing the menu, not the people in reception… no one. At check out, we were standing around for ages while the slowest transaction ever took place in front of us with one lone employee. Finally a doorman came over to help us. I’ll stay elsewhere next time.

Booked 6 months out, called to confirm a poolside or oceanfront room, instead was given a room outward facing towards the parking lot near the elevator. Had to ask for conditioner 3 times before it was filled.

The breakfast in the morning was great always stocked and fresh.The cleaning crew was excellent they help with anything i needed.The pool and hot tub area was always clean and the only problem waa the hot tub on our last night wouldnt heat up but that was the only issue with that area. The only thing i had a problem with was one woman at your front desk that i checked in with and out with was very rude when i checked in and also when i went to the desk the next day to ask for some more coffee she literally rolled her eyes and had the nerve to act like i was bothering her.

Pool by the village has a spectacular view of the May River.
