« Really fab. Great place to stay. Clean, warm and very well equipped. Nice touches - the owner left biscuits, chocolates and a personal Christmas card. Recommended However, the property was badly let down by the agent - Sykes who provided poor service. The booking contract was with Hotels but I had to add an account with Sykes who then asked for an additional £13 for the basic booking. I had to spend some time talking and emailing to Sykes / Hotels to get it sorted. Poor set-up by Sykes with...

« A very warm welcome, and Ann, the proprietor, was very helpful and friendly. Room was very well furnished and presented beautifully- perfect cleanliness. Excellent breakfast as well. Can’t think of anything to improve on. We will return whenever we need to stay over anywhere near Penrith. »
