Hotel Don Miguel

"We have somewhat of a mixed review. We loved the location and the room itself, room 105. And we were able to check-in early, so that was very helpful. But the female receptionist really needs to be friendlier. Maybe she isn’t fluent in English, so that has created a bigger barrier to hospitality? Since we arrived early, we had lunch at their restaurant. It was a big overpriced, we had 2 lunch entrees (chicken) and a very small portion of oxtail, and water and the bill was 50 euros. And the waiter was not nice either. Our room was very nice, with a great view. The ceiling fan right over the bed was excellent. But the shower drain was extremely slow to drain, so we showered with our feet covered in 3 inches of water. They also did. It supply any wash cloths. We asked for them, but all they had were large hand towels. They never came to fix the shower drain issue. There are no fridges in the room, no ice machine (but we got a couple of glasses from the restaurant), and no telephone in the room. All that said, we did have a wonderful time in Ronda. I hope they work out the issues because it could be an outstanding hotel."

"The breakfast was very disappointing. Very limited hot choice and sausages and bacon were horrible. Asking for an omelette seemed to be a chore for the staff. No ordinary English tea. Reception staff were very helpful The hotel was a bit further from the promenade than expected A nice hotel but very much overpriced"

"Very clean and quaint but no staff around to help. I arrived late and there was no one at the property to help. In the morning we didn’t see anyone either. Parking is extra and a 10 minute walk from the hotel."
