The Sea Haven Motel In Rockaway Beach is the perfect location to explore and enjoy everything the Oregon Coast has to offer. Sitting just off of the Pacific Coast Highway, two blocks from the Pacific Ocean, you are barely a quarter mile outside of downtown Rockaway Beach.

*PLEASE NOTE: The Sea Haven Motel offers budget friendly accommodations while enjoying the Oregon Coast.

This fantastic one bedroom unit is perfect for a couple looking to explore and enjoy one of the hidden gems of the region. Inside you will find an open floor plan connecting the kitchen, dining, and living area. There is a separate bedroom and a spacious full bathroom.

Outside there are some great shared amenities our guests can enjoy. There is a fire-pit, and ample seating in both chairs and picnic tables to enjoy some great food and ocean breezes. Please note the Seahaven offers budget conscious no frills room. If you are looking for something more upscale or luxury, please reach out for more options.

*PET FRIENDLY: There is a $50 pet fee per pet with a maximum of 3 pets. Please be aware failure to adhere to the house rules as it pertains to pets may result in cancellation of the booking with no refund.

Threshold came off along with the door sweep. Hole in wall in bathroom. The whole place sloped badly! Futon almost broke. Seriously should not rent that unit! Bad experience. And I have rented VRBO units before.

Great location (loved being next to the Indian food truck!) near the beach. Full kitchen was a plus; comfortable bed. No place to put a suitcase except on the couch, but overall very convenient.

Online the property looked in better shape than it actually was. Theshold rotted leaving over an inch gap under the door to enter. Sheet rock missing by toilet to expose the outer wood. LOTS of places where the paint was chipped off ..the earing bar had lots of dark shoe marks and looked dirty. No usable place to hang clothes. No dresser or suitcase stand to put a suitcase on. The inside of the unit is in great need of paint.Check in..4PM. Not even close to ready. Told us to come back in about 30 minutes. We would never have stayed here if we had seen the real condition of the unit.

Quiet area, fire pit was nice, with free parking. Clean linens, futon pulls out into bed. Half the price of neighboring rooms. Right off 101, block away from the beach. Love the area, thank you for the stay!

Essential, clean stay

Booked this motel for a few days - it has all the essentials including a full kitchen and wasn't complicated to navigate. Great for the price and for being a home base while going out to explore or see the ocean. Accommodated me and my service animal without issue. Bed is in a small room with basically only room for the bed itself, but this wasn't an issue. The bedroom does not have a curtain on the window, just blinds, which allows a lot of light in - would prefer a curtain to facilitate sleeping in and naps, but made do without.

You pay for what you get here. It was clean, and the bed was comfortable. The pictures are outdated, there is new furniture in the place. The TV is technically a smart TV but it hardly works. I did like it was on swivel so you could watch from the bed or the couch. The bathroom window has a big cardboard sign saying to not open it. The front door had about an inch of draft at the bottom. And I really hope you don’t plan on sleeping in because the sun shines right into the bedroom, which has white walls and white bedding, no curtain. It wasn’t a horrible stay, wasn’t a great stay. If you’re looking for somewhere on a budget and you plan on spending most of your time out and about, this place is good.

Perfect homebase for hiking the OCT

This was a nice little motel with all the basics needed to stay on the coast on a budget! It was very clean and free from bugs. The neighborhood felt safe and was an easy walk to the beach.

Very Happy

We were very happy with our accommodations. We knew what to expect, as the description online was very accurate. Management was very quick to respond and provide when I reached out and indicated our need for a broom. This was a wonderful experience for the price. We would stay here again.

Comfy but not what was expected.

The unit was clean, but there were some places in the bathroom where there were weird patches that had been repaired and holes in the wall around the toilet. The bathroom window was broken. The bathroom was well stocked with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. There was no AC in the unit and it was hot. (this could have been my bad at not reading the listing well enough before booking). The place was clean, and it was easy to find the extra linens for the couch, which converted into a place where my son slept. The main bed was in a tiny room that couldn't be walked around, so either my husband or I had to crawl over the other person to use the restroom at night. There were about 4 to 6 inches between the end of the bed and the wall. We had to store our bags in the living room due to not having enough space where the primary bed was. The location is in the center of town, which is convenient and within walking distance of the local coffee stand and some restaurants. The property served the purpose of a place to sleep but was small and wouldn't have been big enough to have my son play while there.

Inside was not the best situation, very small room, barely could fit around the bed. Had to move out the fridge to lower the shelves. Looks like it has never been cleaned. All base board missing inside unit. Needs new paint. I would not recommend this place.

We usually stay in Manzanita but tried Rockaway this time and this area is nice, everything was clean and as it was presented, thx for having reasonable prices! It made it so we could get away from the heat!

Great location for the price! Clean.

Slept me and my two boys (8 + 11) comfortably. Was clean when we arrived, stocked, etc. Dollar General store steps away and everything else was easy walking distance. #7 is on the end so it was easy to tie our dog up next to the grassy area with picnic table to do his business. Would book again! Thanks for a great visit.
