A very tranquil setting in the mountains of Isernia. The room was spacious and clean. The bathroom fixtures were all in good condition. Unfortunately the design of the shower doors in my room did not allow access to the shower. Whilst most hotel bathrooms in Italy are tight the doors should allow access to wash your body.

The staff was incredibly sweet and accommodating to our kids. Everything was clean and as it should be if a little outdated. Hotel Don Luis closed for the season 30 September. We were moved to a sister property, Hotel Sport Village, for our reservation 1 and 2 October.
