Rio Verde Foothills Vacation Packages

We normally stay at the AZ Grand but wanted to try a new hotel and the longer lazy river made it an easy choice. The room we stayed in had been recently updated so there are no complaints there. However, the shower door seal leaked so bad the bath mat was SOAKED after every shower. And 99% of housekeeping did not speak or understand English so it was hard to ask for anything. The main reason we chose the hotel turned out to be the biggest disappointment. The water park hours were not very accommodating. It would have been nice to have an actual pool and even nicer to have an hour (or 2) for adult time. The staff were not very friendly or knowledgeable. No lifeguards to keep the riff raff down and kids on tubes in the lazy river. There weren’t even enough tubes. We went to a local store and bought our own. The putt putt golf was in the water park area so that could not even be enjoyed outside of the park hours. The parking was horrible! We drove around the lot numerous times only to get barked at when we finally chose a spot in the lot near their spa. That lot was completely empty but they wouldn’t allow us to park there and it was a foot desk staff member that allowed us to self park in valet. Glad we tried something new but will stay with our usual next time.

Clean and quiet my only Complaint was no continental breakfast lol but other than that excellent service and atmosphere

From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was truly above and beyond. The staff made us feel welcome and went out of their way to ensure we had an incredible stay.(see picture) The resort is absolutely beautiful, with spotless, well-maintained rooms and excellent amenities. One of the biggest perks was the convenient shuttle service to the TPC golf course, which made getting around effortless. We visited over the Fourth of July for Freedom Fest, and it exceeded every expectation. The live concerts, spectacular fireworks, incredible drone show, fun jumpers for families, and the vintage air show made for an unforgettable celebration. This was truly an amazing experience and a bucket-list trip for us. We can’t wait to come back and highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for exceptional service and an unforgettable getaway!

The hotel was very peaceful and well kept. The room was clean and the staff friendly and welcoming. My daughter and I had a great time.

It would have been a good stay but the pool was empty so unfortunately went a different route
