"My husband and I arrived early before our room was not ready. We were told that we would be sent a text when the room was ready. We never received the text and returned back to the hotel at 4:30 and the room was ready. The room we reserved was a king courtyard suite. The room was nothing like described. There was no courtyard view only two ceiling high windows that provided little to no natural light. I went back to the front desk and expressed my concern about the room I reserved versus the room we received. I was told that the living room area was the court yard area. They clearly have a different definition of what a courtyard view actually is. We were there 3 nights and each night we barely got any sleep until after 2 :00 am due to our room being located directly under the rooftop restaurant and the dropping of items on the floor, cleaning of floors etc etc etc. Thursday morning I went down to the front desk and let them know that they should have informed us where the room was located because we would have certainly requested another room. I also met some young ladies who also were staying at the Alma and they expressed the same concern that I did as far as the courtyard view. This is definitely something that needs to be explained better in the description of the rooms. The location was great. The restaurant located inside of the hotel was overpriced and didn't have a wide variety on their menu. We ate all of our meals at local establishments. "

"Check in was horrible. The stafff didn’t seem to know what they were doing. It took an hour to check in."

"My room look a hospital room with some wire staing the give a room with the handicap set maybe tha was but need some mantainece smell like ER"

"We always stay at the Hyatt place when we visit Puerto Rico.. the decoration is always something new everytime we come.. the staff are very friendly and the breakfast is always delicious "

"Nice place. Clean room with high ceilings and centrally located. Parking is difficult in all of Old San Juan. No real amenities at this place but it is a quiet and nice place. Advertised a bottle of wine but it was never given. "
