Rooms are nice and the AC works great to keep the room cool. It would be nice to have use of beach chairs/umbrellas…. need to rent from nearby places. Restaurant attached to hotel has excellent food! Staff also excellent. Free parking provided in lot across from hotel. Overall, great place to spend a few days at the beach!

Great location near the beach great beach to swim or surf. Nice little area quiet several little places to eat breakfast lunch and dinner short drive to downtown recon

Tamboo’s staff was friendly and the location can’t be beat for surfing on Sandy Beach. I’ve stayed at three hotels in Rincon and Tamboo was definitely my favorite.

Absolute paradise! Wonderful for a couples retreat. Friendly staff, from the security guard to the office staff, to the bartenders and waitstaff. Beach access at your doorstep. Can’t wait to return.

Great location on the beach. We had one of the small rooms, but it was nice. Very clean and friendly, helpful staff. Good restaurant and bar on site. Walking distance to other restaurants. We highly recommend the Tamboo.

The location is fantastic, right on the beach! However I would not recommend this hotel for a quiet vacation - the bar and restaurant play loud music all day and though the hotel says they have quiet hours after 10pm, there was loud music playing until 11pm every night, and some nights to 3am. We also had issues with our room - we booked an upgraded room and were placed in a very small room right next to the bar with no window. Other guests in our group booked lower priced rooms that were larger, quieter, and with outdoor areas. The staff apologized but didn't do anything to address the error.

Great location to beach! Recommend this for a quick stop in Rincon for a couple. Rooms are small, but efficient. Restaurant is the best!!! Sit upstairs at sunset!

This was the coolest little spot! My husband and I went here to surf/relax and it did not disappoint. This boutique hotel was awesome. The room was so cool!! The shower was super nice, the bed really comfy, it was a perfect unique getaway. I would definitely recommend this spot. So cool!!!

The staff was good but didn’t go above and beyond at all, like explain to me where things were or could be found beside the PDF that was emailed. The room was fine. A woman pounded on my door at 1am trying to get in. Woke me up out of a dead sleep. She couldn’t figure out how to check in and thought my room was her room. I had to assist her and give her the number to reception after hours. That was startling. Maybe some sort of deterrent for that happening again. Overall a great place to stay. Solid. No breakfast but there are two places nearby.
