We no longer use the Power Company that burns Oil to produce power on the island. We now actually export clean Solar power to the grid. The Surf Break is a Vacation Rental in Rincon PR, located in a Fantastic location in the Heart of Rincon's Surfing area (Puntas). Sitting high on a hill (but easy access from the street) The Surf Break was constructed to take full advantage of the best views in Rincon. The home is about a 12 minute walk, .3 miles from the beach. A very secure home in a very safe location. Three our of four 4 bedrooms have large panoramic ocean sunset views. The large private decks feature white water views, views of the breaks at Indicators and Domes as well as the Rincon Lighthouse. The Roof top deck also features views East towards Aguadilla bay. The 3x covered patios all feature ceiling fans for those days where you need just a little more breeze. High end beds, Linens, Baths and Appliances, There are many other amenities including, A/C in bedrooms and common areas, Large Gas Grille, Lots of Seating on all decks, cable TV, Wifi on all floors, Stereos, Blue Ray player. Our Rincon Puerto Rico Vacation Rental also known as 'The Surf Break' for additional pictures you can do a search on The Surf Break Rincon: Accommodates up to 10 people (12x with rental of apartment), with air-conditioning, 4 bedrooms (king, queen, 2x Bunks, 2x full), 3 full & 1 half bath, fully equipped kitchen, dining area, family room, views from all decks, outdoor fans on all covered decks, secure carport, wireless Internet, cable TV - adequate for bigger groups who want a large multi-story house with roof deck in a tropical setting convenient to beaches, surfing & other activities. The Apartment is ONLY rented with the rental of the main house. First floor - there are two end to end covered and fully secured parking spaces where you can pull in with your boards and beach gear and, instead of unloading it, just lock the gate behind you and your equipment will be completely secure. There are typically 1-2 on street parking spots across the street and one additional shared spot on the property. There are three bedrooms on the main floor. One has a queen-size bed and a connected private full bathroom and ocean view. The second room has two bunk beds and the third room has two full beds and an ocean view, each share a full bathroom. Second floor - upon ascending an open staircase, on the right is a master bedroom suite with a king-size bed, large private bathroom, cathedral ceiling and two fantastic private decks where one faces east (sunrises) with gorgeous views of Aguadilla bay and the other faces west (sunsets) to the Caribbean sea, the Rincon lighthouse and Desecheo island. On the left of the stairs, you will pass a half bathroom before entering a large open area which includes a generous fully-equipped kitchen with dishwasher, full size oven and range, microwave, large refrigerator with filtered water, ice maker, and dining area with a table for eight. This large open area also includes a generous family room which boasts multiple seating areas to accommodate even the biggest groups and it opens to a large outdoor covered deck (with ceiling fans) perfectly suited to sit and watch the surfers, whales and sunsets. A 42' flat screen TV, stereo and blue ray player are also available for your entertainment. Roof-top - just when you thought you have everything you need, there is more. As you go up the internal stair case one more floor, at the top is an enormous deck (22'x30') with panoramic westerly sunsets and expansive easterly views of the Atlantic & Caribbean seas. This enormous deck allows you to survey most of the Puntas area, check out the surf conditions at domes and indicators, have a large family get together or just take advantage of the complete privacy to work on those pesky tan lines. You will find a large grille, several comfortable recliners and chairs as well as a large table for dinning, playing games.... For larger parties there is an ground level apartment which features a full kitchen with Granite Counter tops, full sized appliances, full bathroom and a separate bedroom with King sized bed and ocean views. Please inquire about apartment pricing as it is a separate charge but extremely reasonable. We only rent the apartment as an add on to the rental of the main house. We break out the charge in order to keep the cost of the main house down for smaller parties. Next door we own the Casita VRBO #395743 which is a 2 bedroom, one bath, full kitchen and family room. Private Pool great for adults and kids. Yard is completely enclosed/Fenced and pool is enclosed within the fenced yard for maximum safety for kids. The pool is for the exclusive use of the house. First, we all rented vehicles so the location in Rincón makes it easy to get to many local beaches: Domes, Steps, Sandy & Black Eagle, the restaurants, grocers and shopping. Second, everything about the functionality and layout of the house is perfect. The views off the top terrace, the covered patio area below it, the well stocked kitchen, filtered water, and quality appliances, the pool, plentiful bath and pool towels, beach chairs and umbrellas, etc. Finally, the host happened to be visiting in the adjacent 2-bedroom casita, which is great if you need to rent more space. He was gracious and left coconuts for us, freshly harvested coconut water from his property, and provided lots of recommendations of places to go and things to see at the house, including the Thursday night art walk where local artisans set up. The lighthouse serves enormous mojitos and also has a beautiful sunset. We all fell in love with Rincón and this spectacular house. We can’t wait to get back when the surf is high. ##### SANDRA H. We had an unforgettable stay at The Surf Break in Rincon! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the stunning views and the welcoming atmosphere. The home is impeccably clean, tastefully decorated, and equipped with every amenity we could possibly need. We especially loved the open main floor plan with the kitchen conveniently adjacent to the cozy living room with large windows that let in plenty of natural light. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable, each with AC, ensuring we all had restful nights. One of the highlights of our stay was the outdoor space. The rooftop patio has breathtaking views. There’s literally not a place in all of PR for a better sunset view! Two patios off the master and the large patio off the main living space was great for enjoying morning coffee while taking in the views. The pool area was wonderful, equipped with comfortable lounge chairs and plenty of shade. We also appreciated the thoughtful touches like beach chairs, games, & coolers that made us feel right at home. The location is perfect – secluded enough to offer peace and tranquility, yet close to local attractions and amenities. Our hosts thought of everything when they prepared this beautiful residence for vacationers. From the pool in the garden to the roof top deck, the accommodations were top notch. Our party of 7 adults had plenty of space and the villa provided space to gather as a group and areas for solitude and privacy when desired. The villa was well stocked with appliances and equipment. Beach chairs and umbrellas were available for use, it featured a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable up to date furniture provided a homey feel. Beautiful art in the form of wooden engraved paintings and art glass throughout added to the welcoming and crisp clean decor. The wine cooler was a nice touch and the magnetic screens made for easy access to the living room deck. We had a great experience. The home is very spacious, comfy and clean. There are ceiling fans and AC units throughout. Balconies and roof decks with gorgeous views of the ocean on both sides of the house. There is a beach within walking distance. There are lots of restaurants nearby, including some within walking distance and a bakery/shop within site of the front door. The pool (looks tiny in the pictures but is actually a decent size) is great for relaxing at the end of the day. The owner was courtesy and helpful in every way. They provided everything you could think of needing for a vacation at the beach and handled the rental process professionally. My partner and I travel quite a bit and almost always do rentals through VRBO - this was one of our best experiences to date. Check out the owner's website for more details on the home. With regards to the area - if you've only stay on the east side of the island or in San Juan, you're missing out. The west offers a different experience and there's lots to do. Camuy Caves are a short drive away, there are beautiful beaches to the south in Cabo Rojo, and in Parguera to the south there are mangrove islands off the coast where you can boat and swim. Jul 7, 2015 #### Fantastic property! Our family (there were 7 of us in total-ranging in age from 68 to 7) stayed at this property for 2 weeks and had a fantastic time! Prior to our arrival we were in contact with the owner several times, not only regarding information about the home, but also information about recreation, restaurants, the community, etc. He was very knowledgable and sent a wealth of information about the beaches, restaurants, night life, and anything else we would need to have a fun, comfortable stay well in advance of our arrival and was great about answering any specific questions we had in a timely manner. The home was very clean and was equipped with everything we needed--a full kitchen with extra amenities such as a wine fridge, awesome blender, etc; lots of towels-both for showers and also the pool/beach; LOTS of seating; balconies with amazing views; ceiling fans and air conditioners in every room; 4 bathrooms (3 with huge showers); a fantastic pool area; outdoor showers for rinsing off when returning from the beach; a rooftop balcony grill; and beach amenities such as chairs, coolers, and beach toys for our children. The home felt very safe-completely secured by gates/locks and monitored by security cameras outside the property. The house is in a great location-minutes from a number of great beaches and restaurants. The beds were very comfortable and there was plenty of space for everyone. Though we didn't need them, a high chair and pack n' play were stowed in a closet for those traveling with babies/toddlers. The property has WIFI and cable TV which was very convenient to have. The house also has a back-up generator which proved handy while we were there as the power went out for nearly a day. Our experience staying at this property was awesome and I would highly recommend it to any type of traveler, from adventure seekers to families with children, young or old! One family of 5 stayed in the house with us and the other family of 4 stayed in the apartment. There was plenty of space, bathrooms, towels…all the things you worry there won’t be enough of with that many people. The house is stocked with beach chairs, umbrellas and a full kitchen. The screens on the doors were nice to keep those pesky mosquitos out and once I found the vacuum we kept the sand under control. I must say the house felt very safe with the gates however I found the locks tricky for the first few days…once I understood it, there was no issue. Once our friends left, the house did feel a little too large for just the 4 of us. Having our kids downstairs in the bunk room while the master is on the main level was fine for us but might not be for every family. The rooftop deck is AMAZING but did get too dark to have dinner up there once the sun went down. The afternoon breeze is so nice and the pool was perfect for after beach swims.
