We had a wonderful stay at the Pinelopi Hotel in Platanes, Crete. From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed by Pinelopi and her friendly family-run team, who truly went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Receptionist Panagiota was a treasure, and even WhatsApped us suggestions of great restaurants and sights to visit. Even the bus timetable! The hotel is beautifully kept, spotlessly clean, and provides a quiet, cozy atmosphere that was perfect for relaxing. The air conditioning worked wonderfully to keep the room cool at night. The shower had excellent water pressure, and the kitchenette was well equipped with everything we needed. The Wi-Fi was reliable. The lovely pool area was clean and well-maintained with plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas. The location is perfect, the beach and a variety of shops, bars, and restaurants were just a short walk away, along with convenient access to buses for exploring nearby towns like Rethymno and Chania. We really appreciated the calm location close to both the beach and amenities without any noise disturbances. Top marks for location, friendliness and value for money - we are already planning our next visit.
