Équipe très accueillante et toujours aux petits soins pour les clients. Situation de l’hôtel idéale. Plage privée très appréciable. Un petit bémol pour la vue mer annoncée.(nous avions l’unique chambre au rez-de-chaussée) les chambres à l’étage bénéficiaient d’une bien plus jolie vue. Malgré cela, nous avons passé une semaine parfaite. Encore merci

We had a marvelous stay here at Calla. It was indeed luxury by the beautiful sea. Our room was perfect in every way. The breakfasts and lunches were AMAZING! But best of all, the owners and their team were the kindest and most helpful ever. We loved everything about this perfect boutique hotel, and we will DEFINITELY return!

This hotel is absolutely amazing in every way. The owners are lovely, there to greet us when we arrived later than expected. The hotel and rooms are equipped with the most current technology and have everything you need, it is located across from the beach, with their own subbed/umbrellas. One of my favourite hotels I have ever stayed at—I was very sad to leave.

This is an exquisite property along the beach, one of the best that I have ever stayed in! The owners were extremely helpful and the beach is right across the street. The rooms are very clean with modern amenities. The loft room is wonderful with the high ceilings and view to the water. I cannot give enough positive feedback about my experience at the Calla.

We had a wonderful stay at Calla Lily Luxury Resort in Rethymno! The location was absolutely perfect, with a beautiful beach right across the street, and the refreshing, sparkling-clean pool was the perfect place to relax and unwind. We also absolutely loved the unique design and special touches throughout the resort. Our loft-style accommodation was beautifully laid out, with the bedroom tucked up above, giving it so much character and charm. It made our stay feel extra special and added to the overall experience! The entire resort was very clean, welcoming, and beautifully decorated and a 30 minute walk to Old Town. What truly made our stay exceptional, though, was the incredible staff. The ( owners ) husband and wife and their members were so kind, thoughtful, and helpful. When my husband became sick during our stay, their genuine care and compassion meant so much to us. They regularly checked in to see how he was feeling and whether we needed anything or if there was anything they could do to help. That level of kindness goes far beyond excellent service. The resort has such a lovely, welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere, and it’s clear that the people who work here truly care about their guests. It’s those personal touches that turn a nice holiday into a memorable experience. We are so grateful for the warmth and hospitality we received and would absolutely recommend Calla Lily Luxury Resort to anyone visiting Rethymno ♥️

If want a hotel where the owners treat you as a person and not a number, come to Calla Luxury Seafront Suites. Katja, Michalis, and their team are absolutely incredible. They saved us so much time by helping us arrange transportation, book taxis, and pointing us toward the best authentic restaurants in the Old Town area.The beach location is central yet quiet at night for a peaceful sleep. We loved swimming in the beautiful pool after a day at the beach and watching the gorgeous sunsets from the rooftoop. The breakfasts are freshly cooked and include special Greek treats each morning. It's been many years since I have stayed at a hotel that prepares such a special and fresh breakfast. The room was immaculate, clean, comfortable. No detail overlooked. We stayed in a first floor room with hot tub which we loved as we had our private entrance and patio surrounded by beautiful plants. Thank you both for creating such a relaxing and welcoming experience. We cant wait to visit again from Germany. Efharisto! Kris and Jimmy

Can't say enough good things about our stay. We were completely wowed by our room (more like a loft), the cleanliness of the grounds, the thoughtful amenities, and of course the owners and staff. In their own words (paraphrased), "...they set everything up in their rooms based on how they'd want their room to be when they travel." Michaelis and Katja, the owners, have cultivated a wonderful team, everyone is polite, helpful and well-trained in their roles. We loved having a private pool for the hotel, and some suites even had their own private hot-tubs. Although the ocean and beach were only across the street (20 second walk from the hotel entrance). Perfect for what we were looking for. All the guests were adults, mature and there were no issues with noise or poor behaviour of any kind. It can't be overstated how helpful and kind everyone was and the location from 'old town Rethymno' was really nice - that part of town was extremely busy with all the restaurants and shopping so we were actually happier being away from the noise and people. Wasn't too far away, cheap cab or a 25 minute walk. We had a very elevated experience and I would not only come back and stay but also recommend this to my friends and family. I'm not one for reviews, so for me to take the time to send some praise, should speak to how wonderful our time there was. Shoutouts to Joly(sp) and the other team members - they really made us both feel so welcome.

Calla was a perfect stop for my daughter and I to enjoy some relaxation after our cruise and get our legs back after being on a ship for 8 days. We loved everything about this hotel. The amenities felt luxury but also very comfortable, and laid back. The owners and their family treated us like we were family and so kind. They offered many ideas for local restaurants and sights to see. Highly recommend!

First off the boutique hotel is just perfect. The rooms are so well appointed for couples or families with kitchenettes, multiple bathrooms, seperate areas, etc. All this across from a beautiful beach managed by the hotel. The staff is very friendly and warm. You also have free access to parking . The location is excellent as well, far enough from the louder and busier area of old town but close enough for you to indulge. You should put this property on the top of your list if going to Rethymno!

We chose Calla Luxury Villas for our June stay in Crete because of its excellent reviews, and it exceeded our expectations in every way. The villas are beautifully designed with a clean, contemporary style and upscale finishes throughout. Upon arrival, we were given a tour and welcomed with a bottle of wine and a fresh fruit platter, which was a wonderful touch. The keyless entry system made everything convenient, and our loft-style suite offered stunning views of the beach and water through large floor-to-ceiling windows. With only six villa suites, the property feels quiet, private, and relaxing. For several days, we were the only guests and felt like we had our own private resort. The rooftop terrace was one of our favorite spots for enjoying morning coffee at sunrise and wine at sunset. The staff was exceptional—friendly, attentive, professional, and genuinely committed to making our stay memorable. Guests receive complimentary beach towels, umbrellas, and chairs across the street, and staff regularly bring fresh water to the beach. The beds were extremely comfortable, the shower had excellent water pressure, and the small pool and deck area were perfect for cooling off after a day at the beach. Parking beside the property is limited, but additional street parking is available nearby. The only minor note is that very tall guests (over 6’4”) may find some areas of the loft a little tight. We will definitely stay here again with our family.

An amazing hotel

I can't praise this hotel enough. As someone who has traveled extensively and stayed in numerous luxury hotels, Calla Luxury Suites stands in a league of its own. The hotel is small, with only six rooms, and there are more staff members than rooms — and it shows in the level of service. It was consistently and exceptionally flawless. The room was modern and clean. We had the pool area mostly to ourselves. The beach is just across the road, and the sun loungers are freely available for hotel guests. The hotel bar also serves the beach area. The highlight of our stay was the individually prepared breakfast! I warmly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a true luxury experience.

This was our best and favorite stay of our trip. The place was immaculate and not a single detail was overlooked. Everything was spotless. You get treats when you arrive, treats during your stay, and farewell treats as well which was a nice surprise. Staff goes above and beyond to make you feel like royalty. Walking distance to tons of restaurants. There is a rooftop to have coffee or cocktails from the bar on premises or you can cross the street to the beach and be waited on by the staff while lounging. What a gem. I can’t recommend this place enough and hope to be back!
