Holiday village La Boverie

My chalet is located in the attractive, quiet holiday village of 'La Boverie' in Rendeux (7 km from La Roche en Ardenne). The holiday village is built on the slopes of the Ourthe and immediately gives you a wide view of the valley. In fine weather, you can sunbathe and swim on the landscaped sunbathing lawn on the banks of the river.
The park also has two café/restaurants (one at the entrance 'Club La Boverie' where the reception is also located, and one at the very top of the park 'Le Magni'). You can eat or drink on the terrace or inside. There is a playground for children. At the Club you will also find a mini-golf course and a laundry room.

The chalet

The cottage is located on the edge of the park near a spacious car park. You come across it virtually first from the entrance. It is surrounded by fruit trees and hawthorn hedges and is located near a children's playground. A little further away is a playground, an outdoor gym and a basketball court.

Layout and facilities

The wooden bungalow (66 m2) sleeps 4 to 6 people. Inside, everything is finished in wood, which immediately creates a warm, cosy atmosphere. The spacious living room with dining and sitting area, the kitchen with possibility to prepare your own meals, the two bedrooms with double bed and bunk bed (ideal for children), the bathroom with bath/shower, washbasin and toilet and the terrace with garden furniture and parasol, provide you with all the comfort you need. If there are 6 of you, you can easily convert the sofa in the sitting area into a double bed. The cottage is heated with electric convectors.
The kitchen is equipped with a fridge-freezer, a microwave, an electric cooker with oven, a (traditional) coffee maker, a kettle, a kitchen scale and a toaster.
Duvets and pillows are provided in the bedrooms.
PLEASE NOTE: Fitted sheets (double beds 140 x 200 cm and single beds 80 x 200 m), pillowcases and duvet covers (double beds 240 x 220 and single beds 150 x 200) and bath and kitchen towels are to be brought by yourself. They are NOT provided in the chalet. Since June 2021, there are also NEW MATRASSES.
In the sitting area you will find a TV, DVD player, board games and (Dutch-language) books. There is also wifi. In the cupboard you will also find plenty of brochures with information on places of interest and walks in the region.

Additional information on costs

Upon arrival you pay 100 euro in cash.
At the end of your stay, the costs for electricity will be deducted from this 100 euro at reception.
For electricity, you pay 0.40 euro per Kwh day rate and 0.35 euro per Kwh night rate. There is no flat-rate charge in the rental price, so you have complete control over consumption.

Possibility to rent sheets, bath towels, cot and high chair
ATTENTION: if you wish to rent these items, you must mention this at the time of booking and is only possible while stocks last.

Sheets for 2 persons: 18 euro
Sheets for 1 person: 9 euros
Bath towel: 3 euros
Chair for small children: 5 euro
Cot: 15 euro.

Explore the region

For sports enthusiasts, there is plenty to do in the surrounding area. At the foot of the holiday village you will find Wildtrails. They offer you the opportunity to take part in an adventure programme and to kayak. Several signposted walks (between 5 and 26 km) leave from the holiday village. A brochure can be obtained at reception. There are also mountain bike routes departing from the park. There is also a swimming pool in nearby La Roche.
In the surrounding area you will find numerous, famous Ardennes towns such as La Roche en-Ardenne (7 km away), Hotton (12 km away), Durbuy (23 km away) and Houffalize (40 km away). You see, lots of fun things that will make your stay unforgettable.
