It was not clear that the property was a focused on a resort. I did not appreciate the very strong upsell and push to attend information sessions about the property. The entire reason to book a property through expedia is for a no fuss process. I want to check in, get to my room and go about my business.
Also- It's UNACCEPTABLE in 2026 that a hotel charge for basic WiFi access. Period. Roll it into the price. DON'T request creation of an account and charge separately.
Lastly, This could be a mistake by the worldmark staff but when trying to access the amenities on the site I was directed toward the resort staff turned me informing that worldmark is NOT part of the resort and should have issued me an amenities card separate of the wristband provided. Again, absolutely NOT a no Fuss process.
I understand the business model and won't argue the attraction for some vacationers but it does not seem compatible with listing on expedia. You should de-list or make your listing MUCH CLEARER avoid confusion by travelers like myself looking for something you are not.
