Very close to Redbank and convenient to the parkway. Price was excellent considering the season and the property was well maintained. Nothing fancy but comfortable and clean. Staff was very nice and accommodating. 2 suggestions; 1. Have regular milk or creamer with the morning coffee station not just flavored and sweetened and 2. An Ice machine would be great. Overall good value.

We paid extra for the kitchenette room, so we were a bit surprised to find the cabinets and drawers completely empty when we arrived. There was information in the room indicating that the front desk could provide kitchen supplies and utensils, but it took some time for them to locate everything we needed. Fortunately, we were able to get the items later, and everything worked out. Aside from that, the room was clean, and the beds were comfortable, making for a pleasant stay.

The clean, simple, perfectly elegant setting was a new high in hotel/motels where I have occasionally stayed. Nothing extraneous. The bed and bedding were the best. At first I didn't understand why there were no amenities. Then I saw a sign with pictures of the cutlery, the coffee maker, and so on that I could get from the desk. Fine. I was extremely tired from my evening activity out so the quiet place was perfect. The heavy blackout curtains opened to sunrise through the trees in the morning. Important to me. I was able to park near an entrance that was near the elevator that was near to my room, which I appreciated. I would have preferred a top floor (3rd), so if I come again I would see ahead of time if that were available.

The best part, this hotel is often very quiet, in a very quiet spot, the windows do a great job at blocking the outside sounds, and it's located in the best spot possible, 5 to 15min drive to all the useful things (downtown Red Bank, shopping plazas, multiple beaches, etc.) The kitchen is the main feature for these ESOA, unfortunately the kitchens in these units are ran down and not maintained well. In the most part because guests don't treat the hotel rooms as their own, they go with the mindset of ''it's not mine I don't care'', or ''I pay for it, I can do whatever I want" or simply "I don't care if the people who come after find it destroyed or damaged".. as much as the hotel can do to keep up it will be an uphill battle. That said the hotel staff is always friendly and courteous and some of them you can tell do want to make your stay better. But the management needs to do better in keeping the kitchens in a proper shape, though most are not. The breakfast, could be improved, even for a grab and go, this is the worst possible breakfast amongst what hotels do offer. Coffee is bad, and the two option snacks - a muffin or a grain bar- are mediocre (again another good reason to have a good functioning kitchen so you can prepare your own good breakfast and proper coffee). Thank you to the staff for trying, the owners/management should try better, and the guests should be better humans.
