About this property

A fashionable cosy hidden gem in the centre of Culture

  • MK studio is named after our 2 children Mānea and Ke'ona and acknowledges our connections to the land and our ancestors - Makea Nui (Ngati Rupe - Taiava line).

    We are located in Avarua near the historical Avarua church, Makea Palace, Cook Islands National Museum and in walking distance to town, markets, restaurants, cafes, movie theatre, bus stop and a 10 minute bus ride to Muri beach. It is suitable for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, writers, artists and professionals and have access to the entire place. You can relax on the hammock or take a nice stroll to the waters edge for a refreshing swim or to watch the sunset.

    Special conditions:
    Smoking allowed outside only

    No strong smelling food to be cooked in the studio kitchen please

    No more than the people booked in can stay at the property

    Best to bring your own beach towels

    Leave the house clean and tidy

    Check in 2pm and Check out 10am unless prior arrangements have been made
