Nice personal, get a lot of trip suggestions from them. Great location, close to train, ferry, and historical part. BTW, the town itsels is well maintained.

Marco and Filipo were excellent‼️ Amine was also great serving us breakfast and they were always generous. Marco made sure that we were okay and gave us simple things like extras, mosquito bite cream, wipes etc. Overall stay was excellent 👌. They made sure we feel at home 🫶. We will definitely come back!

We had a wonderful stay here. At the end it felt almost as saying "goodbye" to beloved family or friends. The service and love you get here is one of a kind. We will definitely come again when we will be in this area. Breakfast (and the Cappuccino 😄) was great and the room had everything you need. Keep up the good work. We had a very pleasant stay at Hotel San Desiderio. Filippo and the team were exceptionally friendly, welcoming and helpful. As we were unable to arrive until around 11 p.m., they kindly stayed up and waited for us, which we really appreciated. We also received a parking permit for our car, allowing us to park free of charge in the nearby streets. This made our stay much easier and was a very helpful service. The hotel has a convenient location within walking distance of the centre of Rapallo and the train station. Communication was excellent, and we felt very well taken care of throughout our stay. A charming hotel with genuine hospitality that we would gladly recommend to others visiting Rapallo and Liguria. Thank you for making us feel so welcome!

Absolutely Fantastic stay with the nicest people.

Nothing was too much trouble. Marco and Philpee were so kind and helpful and made our stay a real pleasure. Their knowledge of the area meant that we had good advice on places to eat out and activities to do. Five Star service and lovely comfortable rooms. The shower was excellent too ! Will defintely stay again in the not too distant future ! Thank you !!

Leider war unser Aufenthalt eine große Enttäuschung. Wir waren als Familie mit zwei kleinen Kindern (3 und 6 Jahre) für drei Nächte gebucht. Bereits in der ersten Nacht entdeckten wir mehrere kleine dunkle Insekten direkt auf der Bettwäsche und haben dies fotografisch dokumentiert. Welche Art von Insekten es genau war, können wir nicht beurteilen. Für uns kam es jedoch nicht infrage, unsere Kinder dort schlafen zu lassen. Zusätzlich waren Handtücher verschmutzt und im Eingangsbereich nahmen wir einen starken, unangenehmen, urinähnlichen Geruch wahr. Besonders schlimm war, dass wir deshalb spät in der Nacht mit zwei müden kleinen Kindern unsere Sachen packen und kurzfristig eine andere Unterkunft suchen mussten. Da wir zu dieser Uhrzeit kaum Alternativen hatten, mussten wir ein Hotel nehmen, das etwa drei- bis viermal so viel kostete. Trotzdem war uns dieser erhebliche Aufpreis lieber, als unter diesen Umständen dort zu übernachten. Fairerweise war der persönliche Kontakt mit dem Hotel freundlich. Das ändert jedoch nichts an unserer Erfahrung mit der Sauberkeit und Hygiene. Wir erwarten keinen Luxus, aber ein sauberes und hygienisches Zimmer sollte selbstverständlich sein. Aufgrund unserer Erfahrung können wir das Hotel leider nicht weiterempfehlen.

Un valore aggiunto della struttura è indubbiamente la simpatia con cui si viene accolti! Molto apprezzata la genuinità dei servizi (a cominciare dai prodotti presenti nella camera, fino ai dettagli della ricca colazione) così come la competenza nei consigli offerti per le attrattività di Rapallo e dell'intera area del Tigullio. UTILISSIMO il pass offerto da lasciare nella macchina (parcheggiata di fianco al vicinissimo campo sportivo dove vicecersa occorrerebbe gestire un disco orario valevole una sola ora). Posizione davvero strategica per visitare Rapallo e l'intera zona da Camogli a San Fruttuoso, da Santa Margherita Ligure fino a Portofino! Un grazie di cuore, quatttro giorni molto piacevoli.

Hunde sind in vielen Hotels erlaubt, aber noch nirgends haben wir uns mit unserer Hündin so willkommen gefühlt wie im Hotel San Desiderio. Marco und Filippo sind perfekte Gastgeber: Freundlich, hilfsbereit, aufmerksam aber nie aufdringlich. Unser Zimmer war mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht und zum Frühstück gibt eine gute Auswahl an überwiegend Süßem. Die Lage des Hotels ist zu Fuß gut vom Bahnhof aus zu erreichen. Man ist auch blitzschnell und der Altstadt und am Meer. Rapallo war für uns der perfekte Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge entlang der Küste. Die Stadt ist wunderbar charmant. Wir kommen gerne wieder und können das Hotel San Desidero allen empfehlen, die Hunde mögen. Vielen Dank an unsere tollen Gastgeber!

Wer keine Hunde mag, sollte dieses Hotel eher nicht buchen, denn die Vierbeiner sind hier ein fester Bestandteil des Hauses. Das Hotel hat zwar nur 2 Sterne, aber es ist wirklich absolut in Ordnung. Die Lage mitten in Rapallo ist einfach super: In nur 2 Minuten ist man in der Fußgängerzone der Innenstadt, in 5 Minuten am Strand und der Bahnhof ist auch maximal 10 Gehminuten entfernt. Sehr praktisch ist auch, dass das Hotel eigene Parkplätze anbietet. Unser Aufenthalt war rundum schön. Die Besitzer sind unglaublich hilfsbereit und geben sich große Mühe, es jedem Gast so bequem und angenehm wie möglich zu machen. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und können sagen: Wir hatten definitiv schon Aufenthalte in 3-Sterne-Hotels, die deutlich schlechter waren!

Hotel in buona posizione da cui ci si muove agevolmente a piedi. Camera e bagno comodi e puliti. Buona la colazione (buonissimo il cappuccino). Ambiente informale in cui sono stata accolta come si accoglie un'amica. E se amate gli animali (come me) ci sono due cagnoloni che vi conquisteranno. Grazie per avere reso il mio soggiorno così piacevole.

Mycket bra läge. Rymligt rum med allt du kan tänkas behöva från handkräm till sport-tv-kanaler. Sköna sängar. Härliga handdukar som byttes dagligen. Värden är helt underbar. Alltid tillgänglig, ger jättebra råd, tips och information och är allmänt jättegullig och trevlig. Om du saknar något, få ordnas det genast. Att hotellet har parkeringsgarage var enormt bördefullt förvisso, så tryggt och skönt att ha bilen i ett garage! Lite trångt gör en svensk normalstor bil ( wv id4) men det funkade och garageplatsen var rymlig när man väl gått dit bilen. Det som inte var helt excellent var att det luktade fullständigt gräsligt i receptionen vissa dagar. Värre än surströmming. Troligen an trasig AC eller om det var urin från hundarna, men hemsk lukt var det. Sen var rummet riktigt smutsigt på många ställen; tjocka lager med damm på sladdar, rejält med smuts i hörnen på badrumsgolv och duschkabin och kladdiga dörrar, men klarar du den typen av smuts, då är detta ett toppenbra hotell med alla övriga bekvämligheter du behöver, oerhört vänlig och trevlig personal, bra läge och mycket prisvärt.

Quel séjour mémorable ! A cause des bouchons au Nord de Gênes, nous arrivons à 01:00 du matin :-( et sommes accueillis très chaleureusement par Marco, malgré l’heure. La chambre est très agréable, la propreté impeccable et une atmosphère très particulière : on a l’impression d’être accueilli dans la maison, chez des amis. Le petit déjeuner copieux finit par nous ravir au milieu des discussions et des conseils de nos hôtes. Un moment unique, presque trop court chez Marco & Filippo qui ont fait preuve de tant d’hospitalité. Il sera impossible de repasser à Rapallo sans séjourner à nouveau dans cet endroit unique. Un très grand merci !

Una notte in un buon posto

Posto a 5 minuti dal mare a piedi con possibile parcheggio gratuito nelle vicinanze. Il personale molto cordiale e disponibile a dare indicazioni per quarto riguarda tutto il necessario per il soggiorno la vacanza. Le camere hanno una particolare attenzione nei dettagli compresi di macchina del caffè espresso ed bollitore con tisane e te a disposizione nella stanza completamente gratuita. La colazione semplice ma ottimo sempre con un sorriso sulle labbra. Sicuramente un posto da tenere in considerazione.
