The backyard is built with peace and privacy in mind, so you can enjoy your own piece of paradise while being only a stone's throw from downtown. Off-street parking behind a gate. Enjoy the quiet and spaciousness of a house and yard while still being close enough to walk to Downtown in 15 minutes, or a 2 minute drive/Lyft ride. The space \*\*Please read about the neighborhood in section at bottom of page before booking\*\* Immaculate kitchen with quartz counter tops, under cabinet lighting and all new stainless steel appliances. Equipped with all the basic cookware for cooking in the house and a Keurig coffee maker. Many upgrades throughout include: LED lighting, tank-less water heater, sliding barn doors in Master Bedroom and Bath, jacuzzi jets in bathtub, finished garage with separate AC unit, laundry room, off-street parking for 7 cars (4 behind a driveway gate). The custom columns, wood railing, awning, exterior fans and lighting on the front porch offers lots of curb appeal and enrich and compliment the original character of the home. Privacy fence built in front of secured crawlspace door eliminating public access to your space. Other things to note I ask guests to only use the bedrooms and bathrooms needed to keep my cleaning costs down. The rate in VRBO is based on your guest count. For parties of 1 or 2 I would ask you to only use 1 or 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom and leave the other bedrooms/bathroom untouched with doors closed. Of course you can enjoy the living room/dining area and kitchen but I ask you to keep your footprint to a minimum. Pets are allowed with a $50 fee per each pet for stays of 4 nights or fewer (pet fee will be greater for stays over 4 nights so please ask before booking if you'd like to check the longer stay pet fee amount). You MUST let me know about any pets in your welcome VRBO message. \*Pet fee is to be paid after booking. Pet fee is NOT included in the booking price that VRBO collects, whether or not you mark pets in the reservation.\* I ask you to NOT let pets on any furniture or beds and to pick up any waste in the yard. PLEASE READ HOUSE RULES BEFORE BOOKING I want guests to be able to check-in as early as possible. Due to the large amount of linens to be laundered between guests and the short amount of time do it, the washer/dryer will often have linens in them so that another load can run after cleaner leaves. You are welcome to use the washer/dryer, but will sometimes have to take out a load in order to do so. If you specifically know you will use the washer/dryer during your stay and don't want to have to do this, please let me know prior to check-in and I'll tell my cleaner to leave them empty for you. There are some excellent local restaurants in the area. These are a couple of our favorites which you may enjoy: ● Garland ● Stanbury ● Transfer Co. Food Hall - closest restaurants to the home Offline is a great resource for events, restaurants etc. The nearest grocery store is Publix - or an even closer mart: DGX - 149 E Davie St, Raleigh, NC 27601 Jets in the master bathroom bathtub are in working condition, the last switch on the lightswitch panel in the room (not the bathroom) must be turned on. There is on-street parking available. Our neighbor across the street has requested that we do not park behind her driveway – she will not hesitate to let you know that! She is very friendly, though! The dishwasher top rack can be tricky. The back must be lifted in order for the dishwasher door to close. Do not force the top rack in, as we have broken an expensive glass doing this! If your stay includes a Friday morning: Garbage and Recycling are picked up from the curb in front of the house on Friday mornings. The bins are along the South side of the house. Please be sure to place all garbage into plastic bags and the trash cans, so that rats and other pests can’t get in. Recycling – Every other Friday.
