Our cozy Carriage House is located on a quiet cove with a boat ramp and dock. This relaxing lakefront property is perfect for a fishing trip, golf trip, couples retreat, family vacation, and much more. This private 3-bedroom, 2 full bath sleeps 6 and is located above the garage, only accessible by stairs. No pets allowed! \*The are 3 flights of stairs to access the living area. This home may not be suitable small children (lake access, glass tables, small game parts, high balcony). There are no fences around property. The primary bedroom has a king bed, private bathroom, and a large balcony with a lake view. Across from the primary bedroom there are two guest bedrooms with queen beds and a full guest bathroom. The kitchen, dining area, and living room has a great open floor plan that allows family and friends to enjoy themselves together. A large balcony with a lake view is located off the dining area. Washer & Dryer are located in laundry room in the hallway behind the wine bar. All rooms are equipped with Smart Roku TV’s. Additional spotlights: boat ramp, parking for trailer, private dock, small basketball court, two Kayaks are available for use at your own risk, two balconies with lake views, 1 car garage, and additional parking. Rainbow City STR Permit# - 2025-147 Please Note: \*You have to go up three flights of stairs to access the living space. No pets allowed! No Trespassing on neighboring land and or property. This property is not childproof. There are items within the home that may not be toddler friendly (glass table, board games with small pieces, open access to lake, etc.). Please make sure minors have on lifejackets at all times when near the water, there are no fences surrounding the property. No Diving off the dock into the lake; the water is only 54” +/- deep right off the dock; swim at your own risk. Kayaks are available for use at your own risk. You can bring your own boat or jet ski's and use the boat launch; trailer parking is available on the backside of the carriage house next to basketball court. There is a shared drive, please do not block the other garage doors. Please double check your dates before booking. We will not edit reservations. If you need to make changes, you will have to cancel and rebook within your cancellation period. Check-in Instructions: Use your key code for front door. Your key code will be sent to you 24 hours before your stay but will not activate until your check-in date and time. Garage can be opened once inside. \*Must checkout before 11:00am as cleaning crew arrives promptly at 11:05am. PLEASE put all used towels in the laundry room. The bedding will be changed by cleaning staff. We were there for a drifting event at Talledega Grand Prix Raceway. There was plenty of parking for our truck, enclosed trailer & another vechile. It was less than an hour to the track. Being on the water was perfect for starting and ending our days there. The host was great ansewering questions and providing information timely. I will mention it is an upstairs apartment above a detached garage. But other than the stairs you would never know you were above a garage. Will book this again when in the area. ##### Catrina M. The property manager, Lexi, was very easy to reach and helpful in getting problems resolved. However, we had issues with the Roku remotes (master was missing), the internet quit working 2 or 3 times over 2 days (Lexi did get it back up for us as soon as you could), we went to use the washer and dryer and found a wet comforter in the washer and damp towels in the dryer. I took those out to do one load of wash, set the washer on cold, and it used the hottest water I've ever seen instead (the clothes were steaming when I removed them). Put them in the dryer and it ran for 30 minutes and shut off, the clothes were cold and wet. I tried other settings and the dryer would not heat up at all. We had to hang the clothes around the bedroom to dry. There were other maintenance issues (shelves broken in fridge, light above stove doesn't work, toilet makes a loud squealing noise in master throughout the night). Just some general maintenance would be great for your guests! ##### Anne B. Beds and furniture are very comfortable. Pretty views of the river and is in a quiet location. Before we arrived, Steve was great giving us good information about the area. Once we got there, there was extreme storm and tornado warnings that Lexi walked us through. We are from Idaho and have absolutely no experience preparing for or even monitoring extreme weather events like this. Lexi brought us water and additional snacks and some lanterns in case the power went out. She also told us when and where to go for a storm shelter if necessary. The house was fantastic, a really nice and safe place to be. We did not have to leave during the storm and we had a great stay. We were there for a family wedding and had hoped to get around the area to see some sights. We did have time to find some good southern food in the area. We did not use the washer and dryer, but the property had a nice laundry room. The house is convenient to a Publix grocery store. Parking garage for 1 vehicle. Two smaller decks that you may enjoy with nice views Storage was amazing if one needed to store suitcases etc during your stay. Seating arrangement was very inviting for conversation. The house was very clean. Check in was smooth and simple. The property manager was amazing: she responded promptly and was very friendly.
