« j'avais déjà séjourné à cet hôtel qui m'avait plu et où je retournerai volontiers.Il est facile d'accès, un endroit calme à la campagne et les chiens y sont bienvenus. Parking privé facile d'accès Les chambres sont spacieuses, thé et café nous y attendent ce qui est bien agréable. le personnel est gentil et de plus nous y avons très bien mangé »

« nous sommes restés deux jours dans cette auberge de campagne proche de startford. facile d'accès au milieu de la campagne. par contre le long d une route qui engendre beaucoup de bruit la nuit. la chambre étaient au dessus des cuisines la aussi bruyante.La propreté de la chambre était médiocre. lit moyennement confortable. Le pub/ restaurant du bas était par contre tres bien, le personnel très acceuillant et la nourriture bonne. »

« I stayed overnight en-route to visit family, and it was so good I stayed on the way back too! Friendly, welcoming and very helpful team. Pub great - a true car and bike themed venue with plenty of interesting memorabilia on display, magazines/books to read, games to play if you wish. Plenty of parking. Sunrise views. Outdoor areas well kept and I bet they’re stunning in the summer. Outdoor kids play area. Christmas decorations very good. Good location - less than 10 minutes drive to...

« Lovely hotel, beautiful old main house with wood fires, panelled rooms, lots of lounges and spots to relax. Friendly reception and clean modern rooms in the mews. Plus two cats! Only thing to mention is that the signs for the outbuildings were a bit difficult to see when we arrived (in the dark & heavy rain), maybe they could be illuminated too? Otherwise a nice place to stay, we would like to go back and explore more of the history, grounds, bunker and restaurant. »
