The Ambassador Hotel is beautiful and the staff was extremely friendly and professional! The hotel is in a lovely locations, the rooms are all unique and have lovely views, comfortable beds, and luxury bedding. The restaurant is top notch!!!

We stayed in the apartments and had two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a common area. It had the potential to be incredibly nice. Keep in mind that the building is in the bar district, so you will get a little noise from that. It was like visiting your old friend’s house, it was just surface clean. Dust bunnies under the beds, sticky floor (probably a cleaner residue), mold in a shower. I cracked up at the vase of dead flowers on top of the stove. We were missing a toilet seat, one shower door rail was broken and all the dining chair legs were loose. Luckily, my husband noticed before we sat on them and did more damage. The beds were hard, but the bedding was clean, the bathroom utilities were mostly clean and there are towel warmers. The area was very walkable with an Tesco around the corner and the price was right.

The staff, the location and the breakfast were exceptional. Sadly, the amenities in the Annex double did not quite match up to the views and the fabulous team. The double room was impractically laid out with no where to put your toiletries bag near the sink and inaccessible sockets. Despite it being warm and stuffy we felt we couldn’t open the window overnight as it was easy access point. Still given 4 stars for the team, the location and the delicious breakfast
