« The house is a block away from the beach park. There is no lake view, but there could be if they trimmed a tree and lowered the fence. The lake and beach are magnificent. Water was warm 1st week of August with tan powder sandbars all over the beach. Lots of space and not too busy. The surrounding area has much poverty, while right on the edge of the marina … food at the lakeside restaurants was just ok. No fresh catch options from the lake on any of the menus…So disappointing. « This is a really nice place. Unfortunately we came right after the basement flooded with the crazy 1000 year storm. It was all dried out and ready for carpet to go back in. But the fans were still going and it wasn't ready yet. But i won't hold that against them. They gave me a credit and i'm sure it will be back to normal shortly. I would definitely stay again. « The house is beautiful and the location is a few minutes walk from downtown greendale. We were able to walk there every morning, drink coffee, and relax. This was the highlight of our trip. The inside of the house was lovely, stocked with towels, kitchen items, paper towel, etc. Everything looked clean and the outside area was very well maintained. « The property was conveniently located! It will accommodate 8 people sleeping, however the living area would be very tight for 8, eating area only accommodates 4. We had 6 and made it work. The house was generally not clean. Dirty carpets, drawers, floors and very dusty fixtures. There were not enough towels, washcloths and nothing to wash dishes with.
