Check in was quick. Room was clean. Easy on/off highway. Plenty of parking. Continental breakfast 7-9am included cereal (raisin bran, Cheerios, flavoured instant oatmeal packs), bread, bagels, make-your-own waffles. Coffee is available 24/7 at Reception. Breakfast area is small but well maintained. It is an older property, and that is reflected in the price. Our 1st floor room had a bathroom with a tile floor, towels were clean and 100% cotton, room had nice bed; bedsheets were good, blanket ok, 2 chairs (desk chair and lounging chair). Mini-fridge and microwave in room but no coffee maker. Quick drive to downtown Charlotte with good selection of restaurants.

We enjoy staying at this hotel for the annual Capital City Comic Con.
This year, we had a room with a view of the river and watched a fireworks show, which was a bonus.
We will definitely be returning to this location and highly recommend this hotel to other cosplayers.

"Room was not very clean. Dust everywhere even on back of toilet. Some strange substance on walls we cleaned off with Clorox wipes. Also had to ask for clean sheets as the sheets in one of the beds were dirty. Pool was also cloudy and dirty."
