The Staz was in a good location but inside the container furniture was looking tired. The bed was not really comfortable. It could have had extras like a hair dryer. The stay was advertised with washing machine and dryer and there was not one there.

"Waimea Vista," Oceanfront Views, Walk to Beaches
Breathtaking ocean views. Unit was very well appointmed with comfortable linens and everything we needed to cook at home when we wanted. The host was very responsive. Ideal location to explore this corner of the North Shore on foot.

The hotel might be next door to the Polynesian Cultural Centre and have a beautiful pool area but due to it being in a dry town where there is no alcohol served or even sold in shops the dining venues everywhere are essentially fast food.
