  • ' If you are looking for relax, total privacy and comfort Villa Stella is ideal for you. The villa is situated in the prestigious Stella Marina Residence (alongside the Forte Village Resort, the world’s leading resort for the last 10 years), around 100 metres from the beach. The villa is surrounded by a landscaped luxurious garden with grass lawn, pines, palms and Mediterranean plants such as mirth and laurel. The villa, elegantly furnished throughout is on two levels: on the main floor a kitchenette, living room with sofa, table and chairs, Satellite TV and play station) and one bathroom. On the upper level three bedrooms and two bathrooms. All rooms have air conditioning. On the outside, three ample patios with Spanish cotto tiles and wooden roof and contemporary garden sofas, tables and chairs complete the villa. Guests can use the barbecue, a pizza oven, sun umbrellas, sun beds and a garden shower with hot water. The long sandy beach is never crowded and the sea is crystalline.

    Sardinian region: Sardinia island is fantastic and very interesting, with some of the cleanest and least crowded beaches in Italy.

    The island has a Mediterranean climate, but the south is generally much drier than the North West region, which receives a lot of rain in winter. The wettest months are November and December, while July and August are the hottest and driest, averaging about 95 ° F (35 ° C), sometimes reaching 104 ° F (40 ° C). In winter, temperatures along the coast between 50 ° F and 68 ° F (10-20 ° C).

    The capital and largest city is Cagliari, a good base from which to explore other parts of the island. Despite its size, the charming old town is compact, contained within the city walls and fortifications of Pisa. The main attractions are the National Archaeological Museum, which contains prehistoric tombs and other significant artifacts from Punic and Roman, the impressive cathedral, and a smattering of Roman ruins. The village has a Poetto four miles (6 km) stretch of sandy beach.

Äußerst empfehlenswert!

Es war unser erster Urlaub auf Sardinien. Wir haben von den insgesamt über 2 Wochen auf Sardinien 8 Nächte in Susannas Haus verbracht.Susanna ist eine super Gastgeberin. Sie hat uns bereits im Jänner nach der Buchung Fotos vom Strand geschickt sowie Instruktionen kurz vor der Anreise. Das Haus besitzt Charme und Charakter und war super sauber. Der voll eingezäunte Garten bietet rund um die Uhr Schatten und war daher toll für unseren Hund. Durch die Lage des Hauses in einer Anlage war es schön ruhig und der Stand ist einfach und schnell zu finden. Dort gibt es auch eine nette Strandbar mit freundlichem Personal.Supermarkt und sehr gute Lokale sind auch nur ein paar Autominuten entfernt.Resume: Wieder gerne und sehr empfehlenswert

Unser zweiwöchiger Ferienaufenthalt in der wunderbaren Villa Stella war beglückend schön. Das ist zum einen das grosse Verdienst unserer sehr fürsorglichen und grosszügigen Gastgeberin Susanna und ihres Gatten Carlo. Sie überliessen uns nicht nur ihr einmalig komplett und geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Haus in seinem prächtig grünen Park, sondern sie verwöhnten uns am Ankunftstag auch noch mit einem hoch willkommenen Grundstock an Lebensmitteln bis hin zum feinen Schaumwein. Später dann damit, dass sie für uns jederzeit erreichbar waren und unseren Aufenthalt mit ihren wertvollen Empfehlungen und Hilfestellungen bereicherten. Für uns vier Erwachsene und die beiden Kleinkinder erwiesen sich der prächtig begrünte, schattige Park mit seinen zahlreichen Einrichtungen sowie die drei grossen möblierten Aussenloggien des Hauses als einmalige Möglichkeiten sich individuell zu entspannen oder die gemeinsamen Familienmahlzeiten jederzeit im Freien einzunehmen. Die absolut ruhige Lage in diesem zugangsgesicherten gepflegten Villenviertel, das in absoluter Meeresnähe liegt, vervollkommneten die Freude. Dass auch eigene Liegestühle am sehr feinsandigen Meeresrand mit Privatstrandcharakter zur Verfügung standen war optimal. Dieser schön eingebettete Strand und sein klares Wasser sind fast unvergleichlich. Wir danken Susanna und Carlo sehr für ihre wunderbare Gastfreundschaft und hoffen auf ein baldiges Wiedersehen in ihrer einzigartigen Villa Stella!

Fantastic villa

This was our second stay in Sardinia, first time to the south of the island. Villa is simply great, fantastic garden and several verandas. Fully equipped and comfortable enough for the 5 of us. Enough parking space for two cars. Nearby beach, while by no means the best in Sardinia (that is a very tough ask, indeed) is great for a 'rest day' or simply being lazy when checking out other beaches and daytripping becomes too hard. We stayed during one of the most extreme heatwaves that I remember, house was comfortable, well insulated and cool enough. It is indeed a great villa, up among the best I had rented in the past 20 years. Stefania (host) was welcoming and attentive. As is often the case with renting in Italy, there might be a language barrier - Google translate really helps. :)

Gorgeous house in a beautiful location

We stayed in Villa Stella for a week in August 2016. The house is in a beautiful position and we had an amazing stay. We are a family group of 4 adults and 2 children (aged 8 and 11). The house is set within a gated community so feels very exclusive. It is perfectly set up for a hot climate and outdoor living. There are 3 verandas, each beautifully appointed with luxurious outdoor furniture and tables, making them great for outdoor dining. The grounds are pretty extensive and are well-maintained. There is a Ping-Pong table and two outside showers, where were brilliant for washing off sand and salt. Inside the house is scrupulously clean and very well-equipped. The kitchen has very good-quality utensils, crockery, pots, pans and glassware so you can cook every night should you wish to. The living/dining area is attractive and spacious. The 3 bedrooms are set around a small hallway up some stairs. These aren't massive rooms, but perfectly OK as you don't spend much time in them. There are also 3 bathrooms - 1 off the kitchen, and 2 off the bedrooms. We were met at the villa by the owner, Susanna, her husband, her son and her daughter. Alessandro, the son, speaks excellent English and he showed us around the whole property very thoroughly. It's obvious that they are very proud of their home and want you to fully enjoy it and the island. You will be given detailed instructions, which are very helpful, but I'm afraid I still don't understand the intricacies of the Italian recycling system! There are beach towels and umbrellas that you can use too, which is very helpful. The house is about 2-3 minutes walk from the private beach, which has silver sand and turquoise waters. The beach shelves gently, so ideal for children. The wind blows up at about 2-3pm each day, which makes for some exciting waves! It was never particularly crowded, with Sunday being the busiest day. Pula is the nearest small town (about 10 minutes drive); Cagliari (and the airport) is about 40 minutes drive away. The nearest supermarket is about 2 minutes drive in the direction of Pula - Conad, which is much bigger, is just outside Pula on the Cagliari road. Pula is small but lively - we found some good restaurants. Nora, just outside Pula, is very interesting, with excellent Roman remains and a lovely restaurant, the Blue Moon. You can't fail to have a wonderful stay in this beautiful house, and we could thoroughly recommend it.

Ein wunderschönes,gemütliches Haus mit einem idyllischen Garten. Dieser ist sehr schön angelegt und bietet auch an heißen Tagen viele Möglichkeiten, sich ein schattiges Plätzchen zu suchen. Liegen hierfür sind überall und in reichlicher Anzahl vorhanden. Für Familien mit Kindern ist das Haus optimal und bietet viele Spielmöglichkeiten. Sogar für Teenager ist der Garten gut geeignet, da er überall mit dem guten WLAN erreichbar ist und somit auch die Kommunikation außerhalb der Familie garantiert :-).Die wunderschönen Terrassen komplett ums Haus, und alle überdacht, bieten viel Rückzugsmöglichkeiten sowie ein gemütliches Beisammensein.Die Dusche im Haus haben wir eigentlich nie benutzt, da die Außenduschen gut geschützt sind und alles geboten haben.Das Haus ist mit allem ausgestattet, was benötigt wird. Falls auf der Hinfahrt das Gefühl aufkommt, etwas vergessen zu haben, können Sie beruhigt Ihre Reise fortsetzten. Außer Geld und Pässe ist wirklich alles vorhanden. Der Strand ist sehr nah, so dass das Rauschen der Wellen immer zu hören ist. Ein wunderschöner Sand mit tollen Bademöglichkeiten. Strandstühle und Liegen sind sogar am Privatstrand deponiert.Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und haben uns vom ersten Tag an mit allem liebevoll versorgt. Ein Begrüßungsgeschenk und ein gefüllter Kühlschrank boten ein herzliches Willkommen. Sogar für unseren Hund wurden Körbchen und Fressnapf zur Verfügung gestellt. Grill und Backofen draußen sind topp. 10 von 10

Absolutely amazing! Beautiful villa in a perfect location- absolutely recommend!

Everything was perfect for our stay. The villa is extraordinary. Everything we could possibly need was there, including several outdoor seating areas, stone outdoor grill, air conditioned bedrooms, many it’s a for the beach and a safe secure area. Beach was a very short walk, several other beautiful beaches a short drive and big grocery stores a short drive in Pula. Check in & check out very easy and hosts were very responsive to any questions we had. Lastly, we were presented a beautiful, delicious Sardinian meal waiting for us upon arrival with local products as well. Highly recommend!

A wonderful stay in Sardinia

Our recent stay in Susanna's villa was wonderful! The house is very spacious and clean and worked well for our our family of four. The outdoor terraces provided wonderful shade, even during the heat (and it was hot!) of the day. We enjoyed morning coffee, lunch, and evening dining outside. Inside the villa's three bedrooms and three bathrooms worked great. The beach (probably the best beach we've ever seen) was just a short walk away. The water was crystal clear and the beach was not crowded, even during the July holiday season. Susanna was a great host! Communication was very easy and she provided great recommendations for things to do in the area. All in all, a Five Star vacation! We would not hesitate to stay at Susanna's villa again. Susanna and Carlo gave us a very warm welcome in the afternoon and greeted us with some prepared antipasti of cheese and salami as well as some home cooked sugo salsiccia which was absolutely delicious together with the pasta, cheese and Sardinian whine they provided for us as well. Also the fridge was filled with some cold drinks as well as some bottles beer even one from the local brewery of Sardegna. Together with some bread and breakfast croissants all of this was the perfect start for our holiday. Thanks a lot Susanna and Carlo this really helped a lot to end the day and start fresh in the next morning. Although Susanna only speaks a little english communication was no problem at all. Talking with hand and feed as well as google translate did the job absolutely fine. Everything in and around the house has been explained to us very detailed and we felt very welcome right away. The vacation home of Susanna and Carlo is located in a gated living community so only the other house owners have access to that area and also part of the beach. The house is exactly how it is described and shown in the pictures. It is outdoor living at its best because everything is available outside. Get up in the morning and have breakfast on the terrace in front of the kitchen, have some fruit in the afternoon in the lounge areas around the house and have dinner from the barbecue grill in the evening. You actually do not need to go inside for anything else but the night sleep. It is a good idea is to bring some mosquito repellent as those little suckers come out in the evening and also in the morning. But sometimes they are not there at all, maybe that depends on the weather as well. Also Susanna can give you some recommendations for some mosquito repellent. As for shopping we always drove to the CRAI in Pula which is about a 10 to 15min drive. There is also a smaller shop closer a few minutes down the road, but this was closed when we tried to go there. Also we tried some restaurants in Pula which all where great. Susanna was also always giving us tips and hints via WhatsApp of what to do or which restaurant to choose. Best for us: so close to the beach, just 2 minutes to walk down the road, not crowded at all during the week with the busiest days maybe Saturday and Sunday. Fine sand, turquoise water and great for snorkelling when you go a bit left or right to check out some underwater rocks. Great vacation for us - thanks to Susanna and Carlo

Villa ideale per 2-3 settimane di mare in Sardegna

Splendida proprietà a meno di 200 metri dalla spiaggia di Santa Margherita di Pula a fianco del Forte Village, ma mentre la spiaggia del Forte risulta molto corta per effetto erosione e correnti, quella di fronte a questa casa e' la piu' ampia e più bella in zona santa margherita. La casa e' fantastica - con verande multiple esterne enormi che circondano la costruzione e sotto una pineta che anche nei giorni piu' caldi di agosto permette di godersi sempre ombra e quiete grazie ad una giardino molto ampio che circonda la proprietà. Soggiorno veramente perfetto nel sud della sardegna dove anche in pieno agosto a differenza della costa smeralda e' possibile trascorrere una vacanza di mare e relax senza doversi impilare in spiaggia ! Un ringraziamento a Susanna e suo marito per la gentilezza e cura dei dettagli pre e post checkin.

Fabulous location and outdoor space.

A homely house in a safe residential neighborhood just two minutes walk from a glorious uncrowded beach of fine white sand and turquoise water. The home was spotlessly clean, well equipped, and comfortable with superb outdoor space and furnishings which were plentiful for our large family. The ping pong table and mosquito nets over the beds were a real plus! Lovely garden and barbecue area with fresh figs for the picking! Susanna, the owner, was very helpful and accommodating. We would definitely return.

Excellent Sardinian vacation rental with amazing outdoor space.

We stayed for a week with our 2 small children (4 & 2) and had a lovely time. My husband had a conference at the nearby Forte Village, which he walked to daily, and we spent the rest of the time at the beach or at the house. The beach is about a 3 minute walk (or longer if you have toddlers). The beach is clean and the water was perfectly refreshing. We found it got a lot windier (and wavier) in the afternoons, but the mornings were fantastic. The patios at the house were amazing; we entertained a few people for lunches and had so much room to sit and socialize. The nearby Co-Op grocery store (about 10 minutes away towards Pula) was great for local products and amazing produce! The rest of the time we shopped at the Conad about 13 minutes away in Pula. There was everything you'd need for entertaining and for the beach; sun umbrella, chairs, inflatables, toys, beach towels, etc. Don't pack anything of these things! Bring sunscreen though; it gets hot! I highly recommend Susanna's rental. She was so sweet; she, and her husband and daughter were all very helpful as we didn't speak Italian, but the combination of broken Italian, broken English and some French allowed us to communicate just fine. You will likely need a car though; I don't know if there are shuttles or anything, but we took the ferry from Civitavecchia to Cagliari and drove to Susanna's house.

Lovely relaxing holiday

We stayed at this villa in August and had a really nice holiday. The beach (which is 3 min walk from the house) was beautiful - clear blue water and white sand. When we were not on the beach we mainly spent our time in our beautiful garden. We ate all our meals outside on various terraces and children were running around happily. Susana, the owner, was very helpful and really tried hard (and succeeded) to make our holiday special.

Villa Stella è magnifica , abbiamo soggiornato in questa splendida casa per 17 giorni, è stato tutto perfetto, La casa é Curata nei minimi dettagli , Attrezzata di tutto , non manca niente. La Signora Susanna si è dimostrata una persona fantastica, molto gentile e disponibile. La consiglio a tutti. La Villa é ancora piu Bella di quello che si percepisce in foto. Un vero lusso. Charming house with a nice garden close to beach

We wish we could stay longer. This is a very charming house with a huge garden, very close to a sandy beach with crystal clear water. The house is very nicely decorated and has everything you need. Lost of sitting area outside but also well equipped for families with kids. The owner prepared some food to start the week and mirtha (typical Sardinian drink), which was very nice. We stayed in late October but still could swim in the sea every day. This time of the year the area is very quiet but one still can find nice restaurants and shops with food within close distance. There is plenty to do in Caligari and one can explore the interior of the island as well.

81656 PULA SARDEGNA La casa è risultata degna delle aspettative, il luogo è splendido, a due passi dalla mare, il giardino è molto bello e la casa curata e pulita. A fine agosto la spiaggia è molto tranquilla, è un posto ideale per i bambini, c'è molto verde e la spiaggia degrada lentamente nel mare. La proprietaria è stata molto gentile e ci ha dato molte informazioni che potevano esserci utili (negozi, ristoranti, signora delle pulizie...), sicuramente un posto in cui tornare!

Splendid house in a splendid part of the world

We stayed in the house in early October. The weather was still warm (25-30 degrees), the water very pleasant for swimming (probably 22-23 degrees). Sardegna offers lots to see, i.e. a very nice combination of beautiful beaches and plenty of possibilities for sightseeing. There is rarely another such location in Europe. That's why we came here. We have been to many holiday houses with our kids in recent years. The villa Stella Marina belongs surely to the best houses, we have rented. The house and the rooms are not very large. However, the terrace(s) and garden outside are really huge (enough space to host a garden party with 50 guests). The large garden looks like a beautiful botanic collection of trees, bushes, and grass. We and our kids enjoyed this very much. The house itself has three nice bedrooms, a living room, and a kitchen, plus small bathrooms. Everything is Sardegnian style, i.e. looks very authentic, makes you feel comfortable at home also abroad. The beds are very good, i.e. with very good mattrasses. We slepped very well. The environment is very quiet. The kitchen is extremly well equipped, i.e. with plenty of pots, cutlery, plates, glases,cups, tupper ware, etc. The stove works well. The dish washer and the washing maschine are brand new and top quality. There is also plenty of stuff for the beach, children toys, good bikes etc. The land lady also provides plenty of towels. I have rarely seen a vacation house so well equipped. The beautiful beach is 200 m away, i.e. very close. During the time, that we were here, the beach was only used by some Italians, no tourists. Often we had 100-200 m of beach exclusively for ourselves. The landlady Susanne is a very pleasant, warm-hearted lady. She replied to any small inquiry immeadiately, provided lots of information, e.g. on sightseeing trips etc. We felt being very well taken care of. We highly recommend the house.

My wife and I stayed here on vacation and enjoyed the home immensely. The master bedroom suite was spectacular and came with stunning views of the ocean which my wife particularly enjoyed. Housekeeping was provided and ensured that the property was clean and well maintained at all times. The home's interior design is well thought out and adds to the luxury feel of the home. Overall we had a fabulous time here and would highly recommend staying here.

Lovely villa, great location, delightful owner

We are a family of 5 (kids aged 7, 5 and 1) and stayed at Villa Stella during half-term break, 26th Oct - 2nd Nov. We had an amazing holiday, and would wholeheartedly recommend the villa to anyone. First of all the owner (Susanna) is incredibly pleasant and accommodating. She responded to our initial query quickly and helped with many questions and requests prior to our visit. When we arrived she had prepared the house specifically for us, with food and treats for the kids, cot and changing area for the baby, table laid, freshly baked cake left for us. You couldn't ask for more. As a previous reviewer mentioned Susanna's English is basic but it's certainly better than my Italian and she makes excellent use of online translations for email communications. The villa is lovely - fairly small inside (three compact bedrooms, two bathrooms, a small-ish kitchen and a living/dining room), but was absolutely fine for us. There is a half-flight of stairs between the living and bedroom areas. The best parts of the villa are the outside space and location. The villa has outdoor entertaining and relaxing areas as if it were a 10-room not 3-room villa. The various terraces all have comfortable furniture for lounging or eating. Surrounding these are a huge garden - loads of room for the kids to run and play, with lots of toys and things to do. Coming out of the villa you have a very short walk to a lovely beach - soft sand, clear water, gently shelving, and still amazing in October. We had 25-28C during the day, and the kids spent hours playing in the water. The beach was pretty much deserted at this time of year. The villa is about a 40 minute drive from Cagliari airport, and a 10 minute drive into Pula which has a big Conad supermarket and lots of restaurants and shops. A local supermarket is much closer for smaller purchases. Again we had an amazing holiday and would recommend Susanna and Villa Stella to anyone.

Villa stella è semplicemente fantastica. Abbiamo trascorso una settimana per motivi di lavoro a Pula e il soggiorno a Villa stella ha reso il tutto confortevole e piacevole. La casa è grande, ben arredata e dotata di ogni confort. Il giardino è spettacolare, con diversi punti dove potersi rilassare dopo una giornata impegnativa. La proprietaria è una persona deliziosa, sempre disponibile e attenta. Ci ha dato molte informazioni turistiche e pratiche sulla zona e ristoranti nei dintorni. Assolutamente consigliato per vacanze ma anche soggiorni di lavoro !!!!
