This place is a great option if you want to be in the middle of the Whiskey Row night life! It's a little dated inside, but it has everything you could possibly need and more. Being right next to the bars, it is a little loud until closing time, but that's to be expected. The bed is comfortable, and the jetted tub was amazing! Be sure to go out and enjoy downtown Prescott before it gets too late because, despite its wild west past, it's a town that closes down pretty early in the evening. But you couldn't ask for a better location for enjoying downtown. The only problem with the place was that the jets in the tub weren't working and by the time we tried it out, it seemed a little late to call about it since it's not like a regular hotel with an all night staff. Aside from that, I would only caution that the checkout time is the earliest I've ever seen at 10am, so you'll have to be up bright and early to get ready to go. We decided to trade our desire to stay in such a cool location for our desire to sleep in and have a slow, leisurely morning but it is a trade off. I would recommend staying more than one night to really get the most out of it and be able to enjoy it fully. The alley entrance is a series of steps. In the dark that is not good. That is the only way in and out when the door to the tavern is locked. The front elevator entrance cannot be used at that time. That needs to be explained in advance. There was no extra toilet paper and no kitchen towels. The pictures do not do this place justice! Sure, it’s not got the latest and greatest fancy finishes but who the hell goes to Old Town Prescott for that. This location has that old lifestyle vibe but with all modern comforts that we have yet to experience anywhere else. Anytime that we plan to go north for future visits this will be the very first place we look for availability.
