"Hotel Camburi Praia is a very basic hotel in a small, country village 2hrs south-west of Sao Paulo along the coast. I stayed there for a work engagement. Camburi village is a typical of the area; rustic, weather-beaten, but welcoming enough. You should have some basic knowledge of portuguese though to get by. Hotel Camburi Praia is just off the main street running through the village and about 150m from the beach. It's a very basic hotel (my room 34 was a bit dated, but comfortable enough)....

"O hotel esta todo reformado e é bastante confortável. O café da manhã é bem fraco e achei os atendentes bem rudes. Quando foram me mostrar o quarto, por exemplo, o rapaz de recepção me disse textualmente o seguinte: “aí tem umas comidas em cima da mesa. Se comer, paga.” Qq pessoa que frequenta hotel sabe que se paga para consumir bebidas e comidas no quarto. Poderia ate ser reiterada essa informação, mas de uma forma mais educada. "Eu quase não quero deixar um comentário bom para este hotel porque eu adoro ele muito e não quero que meu lugar não fique disponível. Meu marido e eu voltamos a este hotel desde que o descobrimos durante a covid em 2019\. O lugar é o nosso \`happy place\`. O ambiente é muito tranquilo. O restaurante tem comida ótima e o chef é muito simpática. Agora oferece aulas de ioga todas as manhãs e serviço de massagens. Não há razão para sair! No entanto, a área tem ótimas trilhas para caminhadas e Camburi conta com excelentes restaurantes. "

"This hotel is beautiful! our room was spacious, ocean view & poolside! It had a fridge, very good AC and a wonderful breakfast with made to order eggs! The staff were extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful. They even helped us to get a taxi back to São Paulo, which was a real challenge through normal channels. There are mosquitoes, as the grounds are very lush and green, so remember your bug spray. We would stay here again in a heartbeat! "
