"We recently stayed in VidaMar Algarve and it was exceptional. The hotel is top quality in every way. The pool area was 10/10. It was so beautiful, clean and comfortable and never too busy. The adult only area is absolutely stunning and so relaxing. The bedrooms are top class. The layout of the shower and bathroom are very well designed and really modern. When you arrive back from a day in the sun the feeling of a gorgeous air conditioned, spotless clean fresh room is just perfect. The cleaners always set the temperature just right for you. The food at breakfast was out of this world and such a variety. We visited the Primadonna restaurant at the hotel and it was absolutely delicious. The most beautiful beach lies just outside the hotel with a very short walk 2-3 mins along a gorgeous bridge all while looking directly at the sandy Salgados beach. The location of the hotel is just perfect and the surroundings of the other hotels and golf resort is just beautiful to be surrounded by. If you want to travel to Albufeira it is only €7/10 in a Uber. The way the hotel is set it’s just perfect. The staff treat everyone so well in all areas of the resort.
We met an incredible guy who works at the VidaMar called Zain. If you stay here make sure to keep an eye out for him he made our stay he treated us with so much kindness and was so helpful. We also met a lovely girl called Sonia from India she was so beautiful and kind.

"We just checked out today (7/24/25) from our honeymoon. I see what people say online about the hotel being outdated. That being said, it is kept very clean including the pools, restaurant and rooms. The staff are outstanding and the location is quiet in a beautiful neighborhood that is conveniently close to the marina as well as a few beaches. We walked to 4-5 of them and saw (and went) to a lot of restaurants that are close by. Another good thing is that it is truly adult only with no screaming kids. I love kids but sometimes you just want to be in a quiet location. We would definitely stay here again."

"Beautiful home away from home with friends and family. 10 of us in total and none of us can find fault in Casa Do Grego. The house is well laid out, with a lovely outdoor area and pool, enough space for all of us and pretty much everything we needed to be self-sufficient for the week. Close enough to both the marina and some lovely beaches to walk, but cheap enough in an Uber if you’re not up to the hike up the hills. Great comms with both the owner and the agent too. All in all, we had a fantastic week and will no doubt be back in the future."
