Pretty quiet stay, despite New Year's Eve fireworks until 4am. Spacious room, over 350 sq. feet. Breakfast buffet adequate even for the non-carnivorous! We took the metro into town; probably should have used a 30 Euro taxi or express bus to get into town for the first time since it was somewhat disorienting arriving by metro. The hotel entrance is located inside a courtyard of other establishments. Our room was on the third floor so a walk up the stairs since no lift. The staff was very helpful in every way. The breakfast was served by the restaurant across the street. It was an excellent breakfast ...well worth it. Das machte das Duschen kompliziert. Sonst war das Zimmer Top. Eine große Enttäuschung war das Frühstück. Es war so furchtbar, dass wir die letzten beiden Tage woanders frühstücken waren, obwohl wir für das Frühstück im Hotel 26€ pro Tag bezahlt hatten. Das Frühstück findet im Keller des italienischen Restaurants gegenüber von Hotel statt. Der Keller ist ein hohes Gewölbe Dadurch ist der Lärmpegel extrem. Das Ganze wird noch von Panflötenmusik auf Dauerschleife untermalt. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist, freundlich gesagt, rudimentär. Wenig Auswahl ohnehin, dazu wird nichts nachgelegt bzw aufgefüllt. Wenn man um 9 Uhr, zum Frühstück kam war die Käseplatte beinahe leer, es gab keine Brot-oder Brötchenauswahl mehr usw. Vorhanden waren lediglich trockene, kleine Brötchen die wie Pappe schmeckten. Kaffee gab es aus einem Kaffeeautomaten, der den Kaffee aus Pulver zubereitete. Frisches Obst gab es nicht, nur Fruchtcocktail aus der Dose. Usw. Das Hotel nimmt 5 Sterne für sich in Anspruch. Dieses Frühstück wäre für ein 1 oder 2 Sterne Hotel passend. Dafür noch 13€ pro Person und Tag zu verlangen ist eine Unverschämtheit. Weil wir das Frühstück bei der Buchung im voraus mitgebucht hatten kamen wir aus der Situation auch nicht raus. Wir haben woanders gefrühstückt und haben daher doppelt für unser Frühstück bezahlt Das Hotel ist klasse. Hotel Metamorphis Excellent er super godt - lige så godt som Hotel Metamorphis som ligger lige ved siden af. Begge hoteller ligger super godt i Centrum af Prag - en sikker vinder hvér gang. Hotel Metamorphis Excellent har dog IKKE elevator - det har Hotel Metamorphis. Så efter 10-15 km gåtur rundt i Prag kan man godt blive lidt øm i stængerne, når man skal gå op til 3 sal. Så hvis man ønsker elevator, så skal man vælge Hotel Metamorphis. Luftkonditioneringen var avstäng, fick svaret att det inte var säsong för det utan vi skulle öppna fönstret för att få bättre luft. Sängarna var stenhårda & kuddarna platta, fanns inga extra att få heller. Vi bodde där 4 dygn, när vi packade för hemresan tittade jag under sängen så vi inte glömt nåt, då fick jag se att det låg massor med skräp där från tidigare gäster, det var godis, godispapper, plastpåsar, papperskräp, en teckning, papperspåse mm. Det mesta godiset var påskgodis, vilket betyder att det lär inte vara ordentligt städat på minst 4 veckor. Jag plockade ihop skräpet & tog med det till reseptionen vid utcheckningen, det enda dom kunde göra var att ge oss en flaska mouserande vin. Ingen av personalen kunde le eller se det minsta glad ut. Den enda som var trevlig & glad var tjejen på SPA avdelningen nere i källaren.
