There were ants in the room, a stained towel, the paint was peeling off, ceiling had water damage stains and cracks, room got very musty after one hour of the window closed (we were on the basement floor).
Got to check in early for £15, so that’s nice.

My wife and daughter arrived at the hotel to check-in and were told it hadn’t been paid for even though it was paid for on booking on Expedia. She was made to pay the balance again until she could contact me to get the receipt from the booking. She was then refunded the money which will take upto 5 days which is unacceptable in my opinion as it wasn ’t an insignificant amount of money to be out of pocket ahead of our trip in london.
Room was newly furnished and clean otherwise.

Perfect location, lovely friendly staff. The hotel is quite tired and needs some love and care put into it, but it was clean and comfortable. View of the beach from our room was beautiful. Parking is in a nearby car park for £6 a day with a voucher from the hotel.

Nice very big rooms. Great breakfast. Quick walk to beach. Never found the swimming pool. WiFi very poor in my room but fine in main building. Parking was chaotic, they need to use paint to delineate parking bays and maybe book bays for overnight people.
