The cabin was perfect for our group of 5 family members. The area is so unique, peaceful and quiet. The beds were comfy. We did not cook but the kitchen seemed adequate. Our only struggle was the shower and tub area. For the two men it was a small space with a low ceiling - difficult to move around the tub. It is very quit and peaceful. It has everything you need for your stay. It's clean and stocked with wood for inside fire are outside fire. Has a grill on site to use. My wife and I had a wonderful time. We saw many mule deer and white tail deer in the area. We also saw a herd of elk, just past the cabin at the entrance to Shoshone National Forrest. Do not miss Clark’s Fork Canyon, it is beautiful and we saw big horn sheep and antelope there. As mentioned in other reviews, there were low beams in the cabin but I am 6’2 and I didn’t have any problems at all. One of the best! ##### James K. We took a nice hike near the cabin that our family just loved. It's a quiet place and a great spot to admire the stars at night. We drove into Cody a couple of days, which was about a half hour from the cabin. We also drove to Yellowstone two days and had many adventures there. As long as you don't mind driving a little while from the cabin you have access to beautiful sights. ##### Cari C. Jul 31, 2014 #### Fabulous cabin near Beartooth Mts and Cody My family and I stayed here a week beginning of June, and our kids still rave about it. The cabin was very comfortable, and the view is breathtaking. You do need to duck some if you are tall, but my husband still has all his brain cells. Not only was the inside great, but the outside was great too. We really enjoyed cooking s'mores outside at the fire pit, and coffee on the back porch in the morning. ##### Lucinda S. It was a beautiful cabin and the setting was very peaceful. It has everything you would need for your hideaway in the mountains. Our host Debbie has done a marvellous job with the cabin and could not have been more helpful. The whole process from start to finish could nor have been smoother. It had plenty of room and everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. It was clean and looked exactly like the pics. It’s in a beautiful area but keep in mind if you’re going to Yellowstone you’ll have a 1 1/2 hour drive from the cabin. If you want solitude with great views this is the cabin for you. Very old west feeling from the moment you walk in the door. Deborah is so nice and super easy to work with and answered all of my questions. I would not change one single thing about this house. It's simply amazing. We spent a lot of time just sitting on the porch taking it all in. A week was definitely not long enough for us. The owner is amazing like her place, available for outdoor people such as my self with herds of antelope and horses, while listening to the neighbors chickens when woke up and having an outside bbq looking at the snow capped mountains, with indoor cast iron fire place to take the chill off, not to mention making homemade soup in the big cast iron pot. The area offers an abundance of outdoor exploration where we say moose, deer, beavers, bison and so many birds. Cody is not far and a great place to visit museums where famous westerners had been with an abundance of lakes and streams etc. I could go on and on but will summarize this is an amazing place for outdoors and historical exploration, and even just staying in having a relaxing, zen day. ##### Florence M.
