All on the Ground Floor: Living room: Smart TV, Patio Doors Leading To Garden Kitchen/dining room: Electric Oven, Electric Hob, Microwave, Slow Cooker, Fridge/Freezer, Dishwasher, Coffee Machine, Washing Machine, Tumble Dryer Bedroom 1: Double (4ft 6in) Bed Bedroom 2: 2 x Single (3ft) Beds Bathroom: Bath With Shower Over, Toilet. Electric storage heating, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Initial £20 electricity included only (top up by £1 at post office thereafter). Travel cot and highchair. Welcome pack. Enclosed front garden with garden furniture. Private parking for 2+ cars. No smoking.. Wavecrest is a charming holiday cottage located in the picturesque village of Staffin on the Isle of Skye. This cosy retreat offers stunning views over Staffin Bay, with its rugged cliffs and sweeping coastline, making it the perfect getaway for those seeking peace and natural beauty. The cottage is ideal for small families or couples, offering two comfortable bedrooms and one shared bathroom. Each bedroom is thoughtfully furnished to ensure a restful stay. The heart of the cottage is its welcoming living room, where large windows and a patio door allow plenty of natural light and open directly onto the surrounding landscape. Staffin is renowned for its natural wonders, and staying at Wavecrest puts you in an ideal location to explore the Isle of Skye. The nearby Quiraing mountain range offers dramatic landscapes and hiking trails, perfect for outdoor enthusiasts. A short drive will take you to the mystical Old Man of Storr, one of Skye’s most iconic landmarks. Staffin Beach is also just a stone’s throw away, famous for its dinosaur footprints that can be seen at low tide. Other popular activities on the Isle of Skye include visiting the Fairy Pools, Talisker Distillery, the seat of the MacLeods; Dunvegan Castle and the ever popular Neist Point Lighthouse. Exploring the charming town of Portree is about a 30-minute drive from Wavecrest.
