« We had a wonderful stay at Between the Sea and Mountains! The home was cozy with so much character. We enjoyed cooking on the BBQ outside in the little courtyard and in the kitchen, it had everything we needed. We loved ending our days on the balcony overlooking the ocean and mountain reflecting on the amazing day we had hiking. We would 100% recommend staying here! »

« This was supposed to be a romantic adventure for my husband and I but at the last moment he was unable to go with me so it became was solo adventure. Admittedly driving on Madeira Island can be surprising because of the narrow roads and fast speeds the locals drive. I was a little nervous trying to find the location but once I understood how to open the gate to the property I was amazed by even the driveway. It was covered with flowers the entire way to my cottage. I parked in a parking area and...

« Doesn’t have an oven or grill as listed. BBQ which is listed is broken. Makes it difficult when you stock up on the way expecting these things. A few small things like no ironing board (there js one listed) so had to ask for one to be delivered. Small things like no bin bags provided (even though you can’t flush toilet roll so need them). No information provided regarding how difficult it is to get a taxi back in the evening - twice a taxi from town couldn’t make it all the way back due to steep...
